POTD: Welcome HOME Scott and Marla!

not sure if many of you are aware, but scott and marla are back in town for a short time from china before they head back out to New Zealand! we are so excited to see them to give them hugs and kisses! we know that they have been decompressing and reflecting about all of their adventures! we can hardly wait to hear about all of them.
marla was studying abroad while scott has taken a leap of faith. leaving his secure 9-5 job and jumping out into the world to take pictures and travel, and share their adventures and make a living off of their passions! we are so happy for them!!!
I am so thankful for planetboho, it’s been giving us a sneak peak into some of their adventures! Have you all read “The Man who changed the world?” Well if you have not, I highly recommend it. Gives great perspective of life, what we have, and how important it is to always share love and light! always!!!! and not to spend too much time feeling sorry for ourselves or being whiny, we simply must understand that what we have should not be taken for granted! sometimes we just have to see life through others eyes to really get what we have.
I was just browsing around on the planet and saw that Scott has recently changed his profile. I went to look to see what new things have arrived. I was delighted with this new and wonderful exhibit of some of his recent works while in china.

rawjuvenation makes it easy and delicious to eat RAW in reno!
last week after yoga at the yogic lounge (the greatest place to take a class ever) I headed to *rawjuvenation with Zach. I have been meaning to make it there for so long now. I have to admit, the fact that they now have smoothies, juices, and fresh food sealed the deal for me!
*keep in mind their website is not fully functional yet. Use this as a simple guide, to direct you to their location. I asked about their website, and they are working on getting more information soon.
I love raw foods! They make me happy, and they give me lots of splendid energy. I am not 100% raw. I am not at that level. Maybe someday, for now, what I really enjoy is having plenty of raw foods and those who enjoy raw foods in my life. I love connecting with so many of them online. They give me so much inspiration!!! Happiness, peacefullness, and 24/7 LOVE!
In february, as long as the dates work out, (keeping my fingers crossed) I am really looking forward to meeting @dhrumil, @PhilipMcCluskey, @galadarling, and I am sure a lot more! at cafe gratitude, one of my favorite raw food restaurants ever! A fantastic group of some all raw, and some more moderate such as I. It’s so great to know a group of people who are very accepting and non judging of any level one might be. Each is pursuing their own bliss, and that is the best ever! I have gotten to know them through twitter, and forever I will be grateful! Even while they are so far away from me, it still feels like they are so close. ahhhhhhhh, warm and fuzzies!!!!! Tweets and twitpics! Keeps life together.

Many of you may or not be aware of raw foods. Many of you may hear the words and have quickly brushed it off. But for those of you that have taken the time to get to know more about the delicious raw foods, have found your own reward. Which is what the raw food path is all about. Each to their own. When you get the opportunity to share it with somebody else! wow, pure delight!

This was my pleasure, when I was able to share this experience with Zach. He is quite new to the raw food scene, and is enjoying discovering new yummy and delicious treats. He will never give up his pho, and I would hardly hope that he ever would!! What I enjoy is getting to sit down at the counter at raw juvenation and seeing the genuine smile on his face as he orders his cocao smoothie and salad with tahini dressing! I sat and listened as he described to me how amazing this smoothie tasted as compared to the ones that he had been learning to make. Discovery and reward! The genuine smile he exhibited felt so great, made me all warm and fuzzy!
While we sat at the counter, we enjoyed raw food samples, oh they were delicious. Make sure you leave yourself some time to request some samples! You won’t be disappointed!

It took me a while looking over the menu to decide on what juice I wanted. They all looked incredible! I am thankful that it will take me some time to try them all. That’s not even counting the smoothies.
Now keep in mind this about raw foods. When requesting a juice or a smoothie, understand, that one of the ingredients that goes into them, is LOVE. Pure LOVE that is shared with all who make and consume. This kind of LOVE is not instant. It takes a dedicated preparation to ensure the right amount of LOVE is added. So if you are in a hurry, consider satisfying your appetite with the convenient and fresh to go food they have available. And make sure to come back when you have more time. Raw food preparation does not make shortcuts, and cannot meet your demands if you have unrealistic expectations. I think this is important to understand if you are new, or if you are visiting for the first time.

wow! the last couple of weeks have been jammed pack with photoshoots. it’s been incredible. I am really enjoying having the opportunity to share more about them with you all. It’s all part of the ride. resistance is not always necessary, in fact very rarely is it ever useful. when you call out a path, you never get the exact path, but if you believe, and know in your heart, the path will be much greater, much more expansive than you could ever imagine. why not leave some room for the best possible opportunities, that you are not even aware of yet? we recommend you try it.

last night was sensational! let me just say this first. thank you howard and juice for sharing your wives with us! putting your trust and love into our hands, with these two dreamy spitfires. while you both slept away the night, we thought we would share some visions that could have been running through your dreams.

I must say, whenever we have worked with these two beauties independently, it has always been such a creative, explorative, and magical time. POTD: hard hats and pasties!
we sure all do have marla on the mind! marla is a magical goddess who we have come to know and love! she is a magical dancer and entertainer. delighting the stage, the camera, and our dear friends heart!
we send lots of love to two lovers who are thousands of miles apart. Marla is in China going to a semester abroad, and we are so happy for her adventures. Scott is doing well, and we are thankful that we are near him, to keep him full of love and hugs.
we know how hard it would be for the two of us to be separated, so we send big love, kisses, and energy to such magical souls. we are happy to hear that scott will be joining marla the entire time she is in new zealand for another semester abroad.

POTD: El Papa Chango
we had the most delightful adventure saturday night before the event got under way at the GSR. shone and I were on a date, and decided to go out to dinner together before we went and watched the glitch mob, anasia, and el papa chango, a new dj that we had not heard of before play. always so exciting to hear somebody new!
we walk into the restaurant, and sitting together are the lovely and magical anasia, kraddy of glitch mob, and some new faces. the new face was diego, aka “el papa chango“. and some lovely goddesses that forgive me, I cannot remember their names. All I can say is that they were beautiful!!!! and their energies were enchanting. And there was one other guy, who had such a handsome face. Sorry that I cannot remember the names!!!!
learned that kraddy is a vegan. learned that anasia had never seen a male review before, and while we were at dinner ran over to check it out. she came back with a huge smile! “ARE YOU HORNY” is what she brought back with her, along with a story of an elderly woman grinding on stage on some young hotness. It was so great to see her so animated!
and FYI-learned that anasia is coming to the playa, she wasn’t going to this year, and now she is, she will be doing some work with sasha “butterfly” rose! oh I hope we find them on friday!!!!
diego aka el papa chango was a pleasure to meet as well. we were eagerly waiting to hear him play.
what a delight it was too! his music, is so sexy, so different than other sets we have heard other dj’s play. He opened up the night, and it was so delicious! we really look forward to hearing him again!! and again and again. he is a part of el circo, a performance troupe and production company, along with random rab and bassnectar. delicious!

I was quite tired that night, and the energy the group brought got me off the couch, dressed up in some naughty see through bottoms and top! picture, and away we go!
the devil’s playground party at bliss nightclub was a great turn out!!! thank you so much champagne and bacon for all of your groovy love! so glad to see the continual support of the community. so many of us will be on the playa this year playing on the Shiva Vista Stage, and we should all be proud for all of the work and effort that we put in! If you have not seen the project yet, or enjoyed watching all of the fire performers entertaining you on the playa night after night, why don’t you come out for a couple of days!
