I know I know! Reno right……I get a lot of that on the internet during my international explorations. I think often times we can easily forget that everything has to have a beginning. Nothing starts out of nowhere, and the energy, the love, and the support of a community of energetic beings can make magic anywhere!
There has truly been a surge of adventure and ability in our little town out here in the desert. Aside from all the spectacular adventures that go on at burning man. Burning Man certainly provides a major source of our stimulation and inspiration in Reno. The playa adventures occur 1 week out of the year, and the rest of the time is left up to the Reno Community to keep the fun alive! We are all thrilled that BRAF has taken more of a nest, and is becoming a consistent energy and visual in our lives. The contributions of all energetic groups shines!

Living in Reno, we are inspired. We are constantly stimulated and inspired by a constant flow of magical artists and beings all around us. From lands near and far, we have our eyes open, our hearts open, and our ability to keep seeing more and sharing.
We welcome incoming traveling artists with big welcome arms! Lots of smiles and hugs! We love to share with them all the love and connections that we are all sharing together while living and creating here in Reno. We practice, we learn, we grow, we find the path.
It’s important to us bohos to be surrounded by visually and sensory delights and phenomenon. We always encourage this to our community and ourselves. We know it’s easy to get sidetracked by bill paying, “meetings”, frantic fast paced energies, and less than thrilling or stimulating sales and gimmicks of the more in your face advertising and consumerisms. It’s up to us to filter them out, and continue flowing in our creative and blissful adventures.

Remember: we only have so much time in a day for magically delicious adventures, rest, vitality, creation, love making, and harmony. Every single second spent driving in a car, sitting in line, waiting, struggling, and resisting consumes precious time that we can’t get back. Our day is for us to create, we have the power and the ability to make it the best day each and every day!
There is a large and diverse collection of beings here in Reno that wish to continue the momentum that has been growing and thriving here! It is going to take the continual efforts of every single one of us to rock it! We all share the desire to continually meet and reach out to more and more energetic beings. It’s not a popularity contest, it’s a connection of beings and stimulating movement. We thrive on the whole, and not the individual. It’s an evolution! An evolution of COMMUNITY!

I recently became a participant on Facebook. I have to say it’s been a magical adventure. I have had the opportunity to spend some cyber time with some truly amazing earthlings! If you are looking for that SOMETHING! here it is. “Have you ever wondered about how the universe works? How we fit in? Have you experienced the micro-macro dynamics of existence, or sensed it? Do you feel, or instinctually know that everything truly is “all one”? Or felt that science has been looking in the wrong direction? When I first saw scientist Nassim Haramein speak I was totally blown away. He actually was able to tie together everything into one cohesive unification theory. I mean EVERYTHING – from cosmology to quantum mechanics, sacred geometry, ancient cultures, religious texts, Einstein’s relativistic theories (with an added spin component) and even the nature of consciousness….
I am one of only a few “emissaries” that went to Hawaii in January 2008 where Nassim himself taught us to give his presentation on his life’s work – a grand unification theory.
Come learn about Nassim Haramein’s lifelong journey into the geometry of spacetime, which has lead to a coherent understanding of the fundamental structure of the universe and our existence in it. In this presentation, I will take you on a journey through humanity’s evolution, exposing the changes necessary to produce a Unified Physics; a unification of not only the four forces of nature, but also evolution and the occurrence of consciousness. Haramein’s theory demonstrates as well a parallel between ancient codes in documents and monuments.
This all-encompassing theory may prove to be one of the most important discoveries of our time.

we have some new event photos I just posted.
We had a great time at Opal. It’s a really cool night club up in Lake Tahoe at Mont Bleu. The Club is just beautiful. It has sheer fabrics hanging from the ceilings, hard wood floors that continue up the walls, amazing vip booths, and just an overall beautiful and cozy feel.
We went up to the party to play with our friend Nick and his production company Paesano Productions. It was our first time playing at an event with him. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Our highlights:
I have to say, meeting Anasia and Lynx were the major highlights of this event. Our friends champagne and bacon asked if we could give anasia a ride up, and return home with lynx to get her to the airport, we were delighted to help, and what a magical treat it all was.
on the ride up anasia was a light beaming and sharing energy with us. it was great getting to know her, and learn of her life and her travels. She is an amazing goddess, who is a light traveler, and has so many friends in common with shone from all of his past, that it was instantly like hanging with family. love the earth tribe vibe. It’s so real, so grounding, and so rich in love and energy. It is really refreshing to be around. Constant love vibrations, happiness, creativity, and such curiousities of life and magical adventures they live and share.
it was such a pure treat this year at lightning in a bottle, when we got to dance in the crowd to anasia once again! She’ll be returning to reno in aug, playing at the grand sierra both on aug 2, and on aug 22. keep an eye out on champagne and bacon and reno passport for more details.
and same went with lynx. we hung out after they played that night with both lynx and anasia. they came to our rooms to check out the pictures shone had taken. and we returned lynx the next day to reno to get on the airport. she was on festival circuit, and it was so cool hearing about all of her shows, and travels.
got to really see lynx a lot at lightning in a bottle. and meet her beautiful goddess girlfriend melissa. they are such a sweet and beautiful couple. I really enjoyed the soulful music and lyrics that flow from lynx. She has one enriching voice and vocals, and to hear her play at lightning in a bottle was magical. again part of that earth tribe culture, and her crowd and following are so powerful. we will be featuring lynx as a featured artist in the upcoming months, are so excited to share more of her love with all of you.
mo2 was the first electronica band of their kind we had ever heard before. it was quite the treat. I had never heard a band play and play so fast and hard before, yet so fun and high energy, we danced our asses off!!! the sticker we got says dance sucka dance, and let me tell you they make you dance!
such a great time, and it’s even more fun when you get to revisit the pictures. brings everything back to life. we are now hosting our event photos on flickr. so that you can easily view and download any of the pictures that you are in. you can put them on your profiles and use how you like. If you see your friends in our pictures, please send them to the pictures to get their pictures. we all love having new pictures on our profiles. and we like to help out the community as much as we possibly can.

this weekend was such a magical weekend. i hardly know where to begin:
more feelings I am feeling right now as I write am writing this are exhiliration! goddess! magic!
the adventure
the magic started when steve (champagne and bacon) dropped off anasia at our place to take up to the party we were attending in tahoe. the ride was magical. conversation delightful. anasia is a magical goddess, who lives in san fransisco. she plays some downright decadent vibes (thank you for the heads up steve!).
her favorite festival she played at was: Shambhala
her favorite venue she has played at was: Temple
both shambhala and temple are two items on our wish list! we loved hearing all about them!
she has been creating/playing music for the last few years. a radiant energy that rocks your soul to the core. she has just recently returned from a trip to cambodia and africa. we really enjoyed listening to her adventures. her passions and motivations are inspirational, and a true pleasure to be in company with. her vibrations scream goddess, and her skills! well, for those of you who are attending LIB this year, she is playing! and we highly recommend you checking her out!
the event
opal was beautiful! the only criticism was the smoking. it seems that when there is a location where people are dancing and breathing hard, that the quality of the air should be more of a concern. however this is not the case in many circumstances. and in this case, it was ours.
shone has asthma, and it is difficult for him to be in venues where smoke is allowed. the one saving grace to us last night was that we were in a casino and had a room, where we could all escape away too. otherwise we would not have been able to attend the event for as long.
i can honestly say that this will be the biggest challenge for us. we are really going to be shying away from more and more smoking venues. we have more priority for our health than for the need to be in closed smoking quarters.
and with that, the night was amazing. kaycee, kendra, nikki, their friend kim, haley & ashton, nicole, and travis were all there. we were dancing the night away. i have not spent so much time dancing at an event as i did last night. !! ladies and gents, thank you all so much for your participation!! Haley: loved your costume!
the music was electric. Lynx opened up, followed by anasia, and then mo2 capped off the night.
**creates current thought–>another good reason why some of my favorite venues are at festivals is this: you are outside in the magical earth, breathing the fresh crisp air, and feeling the sun on your skin, and the earth beneath your feet. I honestly feel that your cells soak up more of the vibrations from the music, sound healing!, just from the fact that festivals are more grounded, and utilize the natural resources.

nick! man you rock- drinking champagne out of the bottle with your friends while dancing to insanely amazing music while on the dance floor is very fun! )(dancing all night in a short skirt with no panties while your boyfriend keeps playing with you really adds to the vibe!)( i highly recommend it to everybody.Paesano Productions makes you feel all warm and fuzzy!
mo2 were spectacular. wow! I had never heard music like that, and it was sensational. I am usually not the mover and shaker to fast beats, but this was so different. i could not help but let the body fly! he he
lynx, anasia, shone, and I were up in our room after the event was over, buzzing off our champagne high, all while lynx and anasia were b-boxing and playing and jiving around! (so amazing!) all while they were reviewing all of the photos that shone had just taken of them.
kaycee was passed out, sleeping like a little princess.
thank you amazing goddesses for your energy, it was such an honor to spend time with you!
the next morning, after about 2 hours of sleep we awoke to give lynx a wake up call, we were taking her to the airport to go party at a 420 celebration back in boulder colorado!
we really enjoyed the ride home:
her favorite venue to play is the boulder theater
and her favorite festival was high sierra, she says that they take care of the artists like no other.
and she said that she would be so down to come play here in reno with us. we have a huge group of lesbian women who are going to love lynx! amazing goddess, lesbian, and soulful music, I hope it will be easy for lynx to get out of town!
what an amazing 420 I had! sharing time with lynx and driving to the airport. my 420 pal!
she is so amazing, her voice, her music, is so conscious, so amazing, so beautiful. thank you so much for the cd! we have been playing it non stop!
she is on festival tour, and we will be looking for her when we hit lightning in a bottle and burning man this year!
