1. we are in the process of transferring our website to a new server. we are doing this:

An event 2 years in the making, Hot Shot After Dusk, in association with Champagne and Bacon, BohoCrush and Robotronia, has finally been able to bring the genius that is San Francisco’s Random Rab. A grueling touring schedule, combined with music production, technological invention and travels to the Middle East has made it impossible to bring this highly revered producer to the area. We are extremely happy to have him part of our annual Android’s Dungeon event.
Random Rab offers a powerful, timeless contribution to sonic exploration. Playing only his own originally produced music live, the depth and craftsmanship of his music is remarkable. With an array of drum machines, samplers, sequencers, and instruments, it is a clear devotion to expression and perfection. The beats are smooth, bold, and overwhelming. The original vocals, melodies and hitting bass merge seamlessly into a tapestry of unique and unexpected journeys that are highly danceable and uplifting.
Hot Shot the Robot will be on-hand interviewing people and filming some “on-location” footage for his upcoming talk show on SNCAT entitled “Hot Shot After Dusk.” In addition the show will feature BohoBots and the musical stylings of d6, Munzbot, Coop da Loop, and Ryan Howard. Robotronia will be unveiling all their self-created visual effects and lighting.

Hot Shot is the coolest robot around! We are having so much fun with him, and feel so fortunate to have the opportunities that we do to interact with him. It’s not everyday that you get to interact with a talking robot that has a spectacular penis!
You may have seen him on the playa, at coachella, and many places throughout the reno area. He is funny, smart, and loves to engage in conversations with you! I love that the most. It’s not just an object, but you really get the feeling of a connection with this spectacular robot!

Last year for the first annual androids dungeon, we all enjoyed Hot Shot before the spectacular night got underway. **And I would like to mention here, if you have not heard of the second annual androids dungeon Jan 17, 2009 back at the studio on 4th, with Random Rab, then consider yourself to be aware of this knowledge now! Thank you Robotronia and Champagne and Bacon! Hot Shot really helped set the vibe for all of us silly girls! We had such an incredible time! Really looking forward to the next one!!!
During our fundraiser for the Reno Decompression this year, Hot Shot again attended! Check out our pictures here. He really helped get a lot of attention from passerbyers. Of course the girls in bikini I’m sure helped, but he really added some Fun to our event! And guess what, I did not realize that there was video from that day too! I was a naughty girl and was playing with his penis, and they got it on film! ha ha check out the video here. Thank you Chris for sharing the link with me at geek night! It was a spectacular event, and we were so honored that Hot Shot and his crew joined in!

do you all remember this a couple of nights ago? this was our view here in reno. what are these planets again?
This Week:
lately we have been quite preoccupied with brainstorming, navigating, brainstorming, navigating, etc. 2009 is coming, and as of January 2009 all by the graces of two little self taught bohemians, we will have had bohocrush up for 2 years now. (this blog on wordpress is a lot shorter time). It’s wonderful to think about our 2 year production thus far!!!!
we have lots of things that we are working on, some new features, some new additions, and so on, and have been quite obsessed and spending a lot of time in the basement, working it all out. when you are self taught, and working on growing an empire….one becomes quickly adjusted to long durations of “figuring it out” time. thank goodness we only work 3 feet from each other all day long.
I get to flash him and vice versa! It really helps break up the monotony!
so yes, we have been pretty occupied. but there is still a lot of fun going on that we are so fortunate to have the opportunity to take part it. I thought that I would let you know of some of the things that we are loooking forward to this week. in case you want to jump on in!

the devil’s playground party at bliss nightclub was a great turn out!!! thank you so much champagne and bacon for all of your groovy love! so glad to see the continual support of the community. so many of us will be on the playa this year playing on the Shiva Vista Stage, and we should all be proud for all of the work and effort that we put in! If you have not seen the project yet, or enjoyed watching all of the fire performers entertaining you on the playa night after night, why don’t you come out for a couple of days! You won’t want to miss it!
