Tonight Zaq gave us his bohocrush photo shoot virginity!! We met him at a fantastic house in Tahoe (there was a giant pine tree and a hot tub in the living room), so with his roommates gone we took over the house and Zaq took off all of his clothes for us.
We love this boho boy so much! If you haven’t met him, Zaq frequents the boho bar on Friday nights and is moving to reno so i’m sure we will be seeing more of him and i will gladly introduce you to this yummy man if you so desire.

Georgette managed to keep the dog occupied, he kept trying to run in to the photos. Such a sweetie!!
Not only is Zaq a sexy dream boat, he is also a chef. I look forward to visiting him at Sezmu for dinner. nom nom nom i already know what i’m going to eat.. i hear there is a stellar gnocchi dish there. 
I’m sure he could win the love and affection of any person with his smile, big blue eyes, and a warm heart. Zaq is such a lover of life and it shines through beautifully!
Of course there was a fire going when we arrived. I was in charge of blowing on the wood and keeping the fire going during the shoot.. a man must warm hands between set changes.. and we needed the fire for when Zaq got naked and layed in front of it

how we are evolving: reflections and manifestions
an essential part of our journey has been about establishing community. life’s adventures are worth sharing, and sharing with a like minded community has been critical to our efforts. it was decided years back, when the thought of flying off as two solo butterflies just didn’t quite have the right ring to it. no, we knew early on, that it was essential to share with community and to be entertained by their adventures just the same.
it’s been a magical road thus far. we have only yet created a small part of what we see in our mad hatter minds, and yet still we have been surrounded and nourished by the best of all the worlds. so many of you have touched our hearts, inspired our creations, and have have shared so much love with us. you truly cannot even begin to imagine how truly magical and appreciative we are.

at the beginning of 2009 shone called out Cloud 9 2009. it was a theme, a way of life, that shone set for us. if any of you know shone you know he is determined by his intentions. decisions and just about all aspects of life were going to work their way into our adventure this year, as long as they fell in line with this theme…………
this past year was all about digging in. putting forth our efforts and love into creating the platform that would unite all of us bohos in a common area, on a dynamic level, and in the most playful, expressive, and magical way.

to do this, we had to set our intentions: to focus the majority of our time and effort to our internet world. the path was shining bright, and with the assistance of a super fly computer rock”geek”star (@indigothirdeye) we were able to start taking the momentum to a higher frequency. seriously, could not be this far without his love and support. shone and I have been able to handle all of the load thus far, but I can tell you it feels amazing to receive somebody’s genuine love and support, in areas where these two butterflies could have never accomplished on our own.
with that being said, every last thought, action, and feeling has been devoted to being hunkered down, spending more time in the basement than I thought possible………submerging for our tues and wed night bar shifts at amendment21 and that was about it.
the year has flown by………we had no plans on returning to the playa this year. we just felt it was way out of our abilities. and honestly it was, but when a magical fairy dances words and gifted tickets in front of our eyes………..how could we resist.
and it was the best decision made this year ever!
I sit here today and am so refreshed, and full of joy! Eager, ready, and willing to give the beginning of our new year the best that I have. Shone is also in a zone. I thought he was a machine before, but let me tell you, there is a fire in his heart, and madness on his mind. He loves to be in his laboratory creating, and after most of the year spent in research, demos, community forums, and chats, he is rocking the internet with his will.
——> you see in boho world, there is no try, only do, (thank you yoda!!!) and no matter how steep the road may look, there is no lack of effort to climb it. It may take longer than other outfits with deeper pockets and a grand support team, but alas, it’s not about the destination, it is simply about the journey.

this year’s experience has combined a lot of things and placed them blissfully in perspective for us. things we have essentially been discussing all year long, however with the synchronicities of burning man evolution 2009 and now burning man metropolis 2010, it’s been outrageous.

Goals and Key points we wish to continue to focus on and manifest:
1. continually learning how to live more with less: inspirations are coming in from:
* the venus project-spend more time creating, live sustainable, and in harmony, all while in a magical city that inspires us all to be magically delicious and able to live as our highest selves
* airstream- it’s going to be all about mobile living: because we can live anywhere and everywhere and maintain ultimate internet connections
* Ford diesel- can be converted
* mountain property- nourishment and lock down for creative projects, it’s just simply necessary
* sailing-life long projects manifesting and humming along
2. creative living and life navigations
* creative living and artistic collaborations are necessary for life. we all have strengths that add to a bigger picture. This can and does take form in daily living as well as all of our artistic projects. remember community we can accomplish anything with enough souls and beings connected who share strengths, common values, and common goals.
3. conscious sexual explorations:
* our sexuality and expression of it is vital to our existence. we honor, nurture, and strive to develop magically delicious connections, regardless of outcome, friendships are forever…..
4. Travel
* there are many many magical places we wish to visit: to capture and share the entertainment, the lifestyle, shoot with local expressing earthlings and add magical earthlings from all over the globe to our online playground.
5. our continual dedication to planet earth:
* she is always high in our thoughts, and helps guide our decision making process. developing a financial income that not only sustains our boho world, but that also will be invested into land, to preserve, and leave untouched, so that species can thrive and prosper. highly inspired by the angelina jolie and brad pitt land development model.
6. our need and self expectations are to do something amazing, something that is not ordinairy, and average. we want exceptional journeys, filled with spectacular adventures.
7. every last second is intentful, there is no time for anything less. our actions are delivered through kindness and compassion, and we receive just the same.

savannah came in for her first shoot tonight. we felt that it would be the perfect time to catch her for a shoot, right after her 4th year on the playa.

yes, yes, yes, we are obsessed with Lake Tahoe right now. last year we got their once, and so we are making up for it this year. for all of you who have been to this place, you know how magical it is.
@nopantsdance is a shining light in our household, she recently moved in with the bohos, and we all agree, WIN!! she has brought a magical energy and spirit. from her super convenient hair and makeup assistance with our shoots, to running down and helping me braid me hair (i’m rediculous, can’t braid!) from running around in her underwear through the neighbors sprinklers, to remembering to bring the cloth grocery bags to the store when we shop. she is kind, and ever so patient. she is on a the path of the forever unknown with us and it is only adding more fuel to her flame. we appreciate so much the dedication, the love, the learning, and the willingness she always shares. I can see at times her really pulling within and working to keep on pushing, and moving, and you know what, she does it with the biggest smile ever!
she just recently named of the tracks on @auditorycanvas first and upcoming album!!! we are all so excited to hear it! it’s a household full of creativity. oh yes yes yes!

1. building your camp and shelter is of high priority. be thorough, make sure everything is secure. check over things twice. when that storm hits trust me you will have many conversations with yourself about how well you secured everything. don’t put unnecessary stress on yourself. do it right the first time
2. on your way to get ice, make sure to reach out and meet somebody new. life sustaining functions are just as important on the playa as they are in real life. give it your best. take the time, you just never know what you might discover.
3. when you see somebody walking by and they look like they need a hug, water, food, an ice cold beer, etc. don’t hesitate. help them on their journey, and the playa will always reward you.
4. Remember the DPW are your friends. Those dirty pirates are tough, and determined and on the inside they are just as sweet and soft as anybody else. They always need nourishment: food, beer, socks, water, love, lotion, etc. Support the team that supports you. Please don’t take them for granted. Regardless of how tough they are!
5. Take lots of pictures! Share your experiences with us! We will not be on the playa this year, and we want to share in your adventures. Take pictures of yourselves and all of the amazing costumes you are creating. Take pictures of others who cross your path. **remember always to ask for permission first, a simple hand gesture pointing to the camera and to them is sometimes sufficient. Whatever the case, be respectful of other people’s space. We are so looking forward to seeing your photos. Please keep us in mind and grab a few, a hundred, or a thousand!
6. Don’t forget your head lamps, your baby wipes, stay warm at night, and get nutrition. Make it the best pleasurable experience of your life!

shone loves to shoot with solid backgrounds. it really shows the magic of the individual. the unique smile, body movements, and personality. he is really drawn to white. I honestly think it’s his favorite. People are so beautiful as they are, it’s a great time to fill your sensory up.
kendra was super fun to shoot! she had so many delicious outfits for us to work with. we are so thankful for her love and patience. she never gave up letting us know that she wanted to shoot with us! and thank goodness. we appreciate the “want to” in peoples. cause as you all know, we are never going to tell you that you have to shoot with us. this is about all of us following our bliss, and the only way to achieve bliss is to get involved based on desire and want.
as artists, we are not able to crank out content quickly, the artistic experience is never compromised. patience is a virtue of our art, and is one that we hold in high regard. as are all of you. we love you all with every bit of vibrancy we have.

ahhhhhh, so many thoughts and inspirations running through our minds right now! as this is posting we are celebrating our transfer to our new server being completed!!! This means once we return from our art show this weekend, we will start uploading the community and getting it working! we are getting close our little butterflies, so close!

Look at @nopantsdance go! Her second shoot and she was on fire! We have really enjoyed watching her journey! Kendra is such a magical goddess full of love and soul. She gives so much love and support to her boho family. We are truly grateful.
Her passion for hair and makeup is unmatched! I’ve never quite seen somebody put so much love into every single second of creation and follow through. She always sends her love, and always gives her best! A quality that means so much to us! We would not be creating the photoshoots that we do without her mad love and passion!
She has been accomplishing so much lately. We love watching her develop her tumblrs, and her new No Pants Dance Wordpress! We geeked out on saturday and although there is still more to add, we are so happy for her! She loves the internet just as much as we do!
Did you hear the latest? She is moving in to the boho compound at the end of the month! We are so excited to share space with this creature! We are converting our dining room into her bedroom! It’s all about community living in this household, and she will make number 5. Still more to come! We will all accomplish so much together! Besides photoshoots, and blogging, tumbling, and twittering, we will share love and support with our raw food lifestyle and healthy journey! As a group we all encourage each other to be healthy and reach as much health and energy as possible. So that we have more love and energy to give to our passion, each other, and to this world! regardless of our responsibilities on the playa last year, there is still no place I would rather be than in front of shones lense. I’m so thankful for the couple shoots that I was able to help create. the playa will always be my favorite place to shoot. it’s so magical, and the experiences and lessons it has taught us will last a lifetime! I’m so excited to start getting in more shoots! ahhhh it feels so good to have it on my list of to do’s~
Burning Man 2008: The American Dream
Wow! Last year was such a blurrrrrr! I have never personally taken on such a huge project! Running a 24/7 theme camp for an entire week plus throwing a major party for DPW before the event even starts. Packed with thousands of people, drinking good ole PBR and Jamesons! I learned so much about myself and gained so much experience, I will be forever grateful. Surrounded by so many amazing people:

1. david (dj david leeson) blowing up the camp the first few nights and actually getting us a sound warning for the wee hours in the morning, even though we were in the appropriate space for sound! david literally single handed drove that camp wild and furious! It was amazing!!!
2. The wheel of debauchery? Man that was the best toy to place on our bar to get people to interact and be silly! @nopantsdance took to bartending and that wheel like no other! I still have vision in my head, @nopantsdance wearing her little hat with kitty ears, topless, and shaking her booty while on her knees on the bar, spanking others!
*if you are wondering what happened to the wheel of debauchery, it is back with it’s creator. Captain Canada has reclaimed the wheel of debauchery. Lifted from it’s stand, it will be added to the wall of their condo. So the next time you enter, be prepared, you will be required to spin the wheel and most likely dance on his stripper pole coffee table.
3. The big pussy head! Man @hellamikey you did a freaking amazing job setting up the wiring backbone for that cat head! Super amazing!!! That pussy made the camp! So much love and time from @hellamikey and @kendalliscool (remember it’s where they met!!!) and david and shone! So much love in fact that I did not have the heart to throw it away.
UPDATE:
You’ll all be happy to know that the pussy is in great hands! Dan and @metaphysical1 came over this weekend and picked up the pussy. They are going to give it a new home at the FreeStyle Palace this year. I think I heard the new name of their bar, “pussy liquor!” ha ha I am so delighted that it is returning to the playa! It’s truly where that pussy belongs!
4. Do you remember the night when @moosetwit @metaphysical1 and the @brcallstars blew up our camp till like 9am! ha ha it was right after the sound warning! You know how it goes, bohemians playing in a bohemian playground. Are all the rules truly meant to be followed! FUCK YOUR DAY! I ran out of steam that night and did not get to see them rock the camp. I fell asleep from playa exhaustion, running a camp, cooking for a crew, and keeping everything going behind the scenes! I will never forget though that our love and connection was sealed on the playa!!! The Black Rock City Allstars rock!
5. The bohemian lounge socks, undies, and bandanas were a hit! If you didn’t see them, I am wearing the socks and the undies in this photoshoot! I still have a few left.
Burning Man 2009: Evolution
There are actually a ton of thoughts and memories floating around in my heart right now as it’s getting to be the time of preparing for the playa. Last year was such a phenomenal year, and as much as we love the playa, it feels very surreal sitting back and watching all of the activity around us. We are not joining in this year. There is no lack of love, just have a few major projects on our shoulders, and we want to be able to put our hearts into it, and do our very very very best. When you love something so much, putting her best into it for the duration of the project is not a difficult task. Waking up with so much love everyday, and transferring it to all the project boards and computers that surround us in the basement. Ha ha it’s really starting to look like we are just two mad scientists down here!!!
The Summer of 2009
We are going to be only doing a few events for the summer. The Big Bounce Music Festival and one other one that we can’t share with you just yet. The rest of the time we are going to be in our laboratory! oooh haaaa haaaaaaa. I’m excited as hell to step my game up and give it even more love and energy than I ever thought imagineable! It’s quite difficult to imagine what life would be like without photoshoots! Seriously, if we were not getting emails or twitters about what shoots and ideas are coming up, life would be so different! We live for photoshoots!
The goal for this year is to put the majority of our focus into our shoots. You might not see us (georgette and shone) at many events this year. However there are lots of bohocrush and bohemian burlesque lovelies in the community all wired up and ready to take over the summer.
We love the events, but the demands of photoshoots and such and increase in volume of those who wish to be in front of our lense is growing and growing. We love this, and wish to give as much as our love to our shoots. It’s the best time to spend time with friends, and getting to know new people! You should see how happy Shone is with his new camera. He finally has an appropriate tool that provides him with shoots and videos! all from the same camera! Now all we need to do is get our flash fixed, and life will be completely restored!

Second year to burning man, second year with a shoot with us on the playa! Yahoooooo!

Penny and Chelsea do you remember this day? Chelsea remember when you were so nervous, you got yourself all worked up before your shoot, and then was a fricking HAM the entire time. Penny remember, you were curious, and you were looking, dipping your toes in slowly, and before you knew it we had you in a shoot!
You girls filled us with laughter and giggles! It was probably a good thing you had plans to go out that night, or we might have just kept you in all night shooting!

There is never a lack of magical earthlings around this part who want to self express in our photos! We couldn’t be happier! Heather is certainly a natural when it comes to being on stage and being in front of the camera! You may have seen her on stage with bohemian burlesque. And if you havn’t then you should get your bootays on down to the Studio on 4th this Thursday March 5 and or Friday March 6th: Doors open at 7:30 Tickets are $12 at the door. You’ll be able to see Heather and a whole crew of amazing earthlings on stage! It’s a fantastic show!
We are all appreciative of Heathers energy. Wether she is helping to sew some costumes together or dancing and sharing her smile with a room full of people, she is always a bright light that loves to follow her bliss! A long time ago when we were preparing to go LIVE with bohocrush, we knew we always wanted to feature other artists.
We have tried a few different things, learned what works, what doesn’t and what is possible between 2 people.
Although I really like the way our featured artists page was starting to look, we quickly realized that we did not have the capability of keeping up with it. We knew we had to find another method.
I can hardly tell you how thrilled we are to have found our new wordpress theme. Not only is it amazing, but it has varieties and multiple foundations, which, if somebody like us two little bohemians wanted to move it, could create a few different worlds, and yet still build a cohesive playground!
It’s all about working smarter not harder, so that there is plenty of time left in the day to perform all desired activities! Health, Love, Movement, Relaxation, & Sunshine!
We are still filling in the sidebar, and have to import our other featured artists, however, we would love to share with you our new bohocrush Featured Artist playground.
We like to feature artists in many ways.
