Our roommate david leeson, AKA auditory canvas AKA summer rain recordings has just informed us that one of his recent songs Still Inside, is nominated for the Hollywood Music Awards! Yahooooo! The awards are being held tomorrow!
We will all be keeping our ears open, waiting to see the outcome. But just the nomination alone is so amazing! We are so happy for him!

Decompression Event even better.
Please note: Club Underground and Bliss Nightclub require you to be 21 years
of age or older. These are also the only venues you will need a ticket for
entry. The Mangrove and the Alley are free access for anyone of any age.

The Atlantis has offered us a group room rate to for the evening of
Decompression!
Rates in the Motor lodge will be $79.00, for double/ double or king bed.
Rooms are available in smoking or non-smoking. All rooms have outdoor
access. Alix will try to have our initial 25 room block located at the back
portion of the motor lodge, to insure more privacy. She will add rooms to
the block as reservations deem necessary.
To insure the $79.00 rate, guests should call the Atlantis by Saturday,
October 11, 2008. Mention the Decompression rate when speaking to the
reservations agent.

POTD: Kaskade created fireworks!
for so long, we have enjoyed Kaskade from our ipod! for so long, we have played him, and loved him, and enjoyed.
friday night at bliss nightclub was wonderful. to be in the room, to hear him play, and play some of his own songs, was such a treat. we had heard that he usually doesn’t play his own music, and we were really hoping that this wasn’t going to be the case! oh thank you thank you thank you ryan, aka Kaskade, for playing and rocking it!!!
I hope in the future we’ll have him rocking at one of our events!
was listening to this song today, and even though it’s one of his older songs, I know it has lots of meaning especially to one of my dear friends. Marcie, Love you girl! so great to see you rocking it the other night!

there is something the playa has done to us. it has caused us to operate, and live by an entirely different set of events. without even realizing what was happening, it happened.
don’t get me wrong, we love fireworks, we love celebrations, we just happened to join our 4th of July and our New Years Celebrations all together with the event at the Black Rock City.
we are all silly with delighted anticipation while we count down the days until we head back. the man burns in 56 days! it takes my breathe away every time I call it out!
we missed the fireworks last night, we were at home working away, we did however make it out to listen and get some photos of kaskade while he played here in reno at bliss nightclub. a dj from san fransisco who shone and I love to pieces! hoping one day to get to know him a little more. we always love to learn the artists behind the work. a fun adventure we are looking forward too.

I have listened to Kaskade on my ipod for so long, and I am so super duper excited that he is playing here in reno this friday night!
Going to go to dinner and have a salad at the whole foods salad bar and then off to dance the night away at bliss nightclub!
