boho 101: collaborations…life is all about the collaborations

…..pulling out the boho dictionary: all capitalized words have boho definitions, please use them as you come across them in the readings. if you should choose to accept this mission ;)

collab1

boho COLLABORATIONS:

1. the light version:

* when our multiple and diverse energies come together and share into a central or focused project/adventure/lifestyle/event; putting forward our strengths and love and passion, each entity is participating on what they love to do the most (in otherwords their ultimate strength and passion: with LOVE, capability, follow through, and desire). A win win situation is achieved for all parties, sharing and caring, growing, and giving our best efforts to make the best outcome possible always.

2. a more in depth version:

* ENERGY is an essential and the founding element in the boho COLLABORATIONS. each entity is relied upon to bring their best and highest ENERGY to the adventures always. this ENERGY is available to flow throughout the entire process free and uninhibited. Sharing of this ENERGY is crucial. We focus on fluid transitions. We wish for a light and soft path. There is only so much we can all take on at one time. Let’s stay grounded, motivated, stay progressive, and always be ready and available to ROCK IT! It’s all about getting the juicy. When too much of this free ENERGY lands in one place, and is held there, this disrupts the flow. ( essentially NO EGOS allowed ) let’s all share and use the energy as optimal as possible, and keep it pumping through the lifeline of the group.

our mottos:

“give your more to receive your less” -shone

“argue for your limitations and they’re yours” -richard bach from the book Illusions

we highly recommend that book, and just so you know, we do not receive any endorsements from outside parties for anything that we promote on our blog ever :) if this should ever happen, we’ll let you know. we share our love, that is all.

* act upon your highest self, whatever level that is in the current moment, we are aware that this changes, we are aware that all of us are not perfect. take bumps gracefully, and get right back to the loving feeling ;)

collab2

* in boho land we are all adults. once we hit 18 ;) it’s all growing up from there. if we wish to be treated as an adult, then it is in our best interest to do our best to interact as an adult. I’ll share this one time, please refer to this post if you should forget: pitty parties, temper tantrums, lack of effort and compassion for the group, aggression (instant exit!!!) blaming others, purposeful slander and pain, putting other down, etc. is not acceptable. you may find yourself in receiving TOUGH LOVE and in more extreme cases released.

* boho time is a place to share, to live, to grow, to express, and to follow your bliss. to find and experience the best in ourselves. it takes practice, it takes commitment. We have dedicated this lifetime just so you know.

* put your best foot forward, COMMUNICATE, LISTEN, SHARE, and anything is possible. we choose to live a life full of passion, creation, connection, adventure, and LOVE. our boho plan is just about set in place, we have been building foundation and establishing magical connections over the past 3 years (boho is turning 3 in january!!!!)

collab4

boho ENERGY: a fluid and grounding transition that is not captured or held in boxes or limitations. foundation, connection, and respect added into any project creates MAGIK. energy is a founding element in our projects. doing our best to keep ourselves optimal for creative magnificence. sleep, nutrition, sex :) makes happy bohos!!! and magnificent collaborations. honor time and energy. spread out too thin trying to capture too much at once = fail

boho COMMUNICATE: feedback and methods of communication are essential, criticism and critique can be accomplished in a way that continually motivates and provides love for all, be aware of what it is that you need to communicate, be clear, use specifics, so that when a point of interaction can be established, time is spent efficiently, and is time well spent, so that we can all get back to creating and exploring.

boho LISTEN: “to be aware of when you are listening: if you are talking to someone and are already thinking about what you are going to say next, you are not listening.” -Miguel Ruiz Jr. stay focused, prepare notes, and discuss your thoughts, when it is your turn to discuss. the more we all can listen, the more we all use our time the most efficiently.

boho SHARING: sharing is caring, inspiration, love, tips, compassion, it’s all part of the bigger picture. no need to hold on tight, there is always plenty to go around when the entire group is sharing :) lead and live with compassion, be aware and react accordingly to emotional reactions. let’s keep rocking the light!

boho LOVE: establish your love, develop, nurture, honor, prioritize, connect into the life stream of LOVE, add too it, but do not deplete it, many of the bohos request cyber hugs on twitter when they need it. find your way to stay connected and return the LOVE when you can.

NO EGOS: we are all on equal grounds, we are all here to be a part of the works, effort and ability, confidence and follow through, walk the walk! connect into the doing and being. egos are an archaic comfort zone, step out and connect and grow. we are an evolution of community. a project or group is only as strong as it’s weakest link, all it takes is practice, let go of judgments on yourself and others. stay humble, stay vulnerable, develop necessary skill sets as needed.

boho TOUGH LOVE: we have a time out in our boho world. essentially we will step back for our time and space when certain actions have not benefited the group. actions that have been entirely too selfish pull and tug energy from our collaborations. we still LOVE you, we just need to honor our path just the same.

How To get out of TOUGH LOVE: otherwise known as time out

get back to being you, an evolved version. ( we all need to evolve, there are no fingers being pointed here) bring a willingness to listen, a willingness to observe, and put your time in to establish an energy flow again. The length of time outs are up to you. :) We’ll be here ready and waiting for open arms and big hugs when you return!!

(please know that we are all held to these guidelines. WE all stand on the same level. )

collab3

* creative, passionate, and pleasured earthlings/aliens treat ALL with love.

* and all of this is of course once the COLLABORATIONS have been established. many of you ask, how do I COLLABORATE with bohos? that is another post :) but at least this gives you some kind of idea, and also the most essential……..patience

is there anything that you would like to add, or inquire about? we are in a state of evolution, we listen, we grow, we share. feel free to leave a comment. (emails and phone calls are NOT an option, at this time.) we can discuss this here, or catch us if you can :)

may the force be with you

we love to share things that have inspired our growth:

We love love love Don Miguel Ruiz:

enjoy first a love prayer, take some time, breath, then allow the four agreements to set it. :)

Whatever will spring out of boholoveadventure..., please G., please create only one website, delegate all your sub-themes to different sub-sites, but all on your ONE site!
  • yes @ultrafeel!! yes!!!

I 100% agree. I must admit, all of my online tools aside of this blog and our galleries have been tools for me to learn, to grow, to evolve, to try out things, and to gain stamina and online awareness. It's been a whimsical ride thus far, and the new developments will all nestle comfy inside of bohocrush. :) this blog will always be the master ;)

it's been one hell of a ride these past 3 years, and I am forever grateful for your love and connections always fox!!!

    to the pursuit!!
  • goddess..
you really know how to write the right thing at a time of beautiful synchronicity in my path. :)
I have been learning so much on my current little adventure. As i'm observing and listening i am seeing examples of exactly what happens when people don't honor each other and themselves in the ways you have described.
I have always know these definitions in my heart. I'm seeing an entire community of unfamiliar characters unfold around me and they are all shedding light on my truth of what a beautiful boho butterfly is.

i'm seeing how important it is to honor each other and our paths and be in the moment as each person i encounter has a message and i just need to be open to receiving those messages. If i'm not open i will close myself to the possibilities that are all around me.

another thing that i love about boho that you did not mention in this post with words, but hinted at with pictures, is boho earth:) the way i treat the planet reflects the way i treat my community. It is important for me to love and honor the earth i walk as it is the one thing that provides energy for me even when i am not consciously aware of it. The plants, animals, land, mystikal creatures, and many other organisms are all giving an energy that i may harvest for my own progress as long as i am actively giving back the energy i take into the earth i took it from.
caring for this planet is just as important as caring for one another.. that is one thing i learned immediately when i entered the boho community.

thank you for sharing your light.
    i love you!
  • zebrathingy
Oh those are very good, and I do think I needed to remind myself of all of those, even as I instinctively say some of those things to others...
  • zebra,

you know I love to write about it because it helps me so much. i'm always reminding myself!!! I am working on my "don't make assumptions", this prevents full communication, I'm so thankful I have blogs to constantly pull thoughts and words out of my head. :) All of the writing I do anywhere is the best thing I could have ever started!!! I can't believe I only started a few years ago, but am so thankful I have only but everyday to look forward to for the rest of my life. I hope to become the best listener and communicator that I can be :)
  • Catwoman69y2k
Yeah. Assuming is a bad idea. Its better to ask questions. I think it encourages more social intercourse and gives you a chance to meet on a human race level since we are all in the same boat when it comes down to it. Besides, you know what happens when you assume right?

It always makes an ASS out of U and ME.
  • I love that! social intercourse ;) and yes, keeping it real, and truly sharing what brings me bliss, I can do that anytime, anyday :)

I like to save the ASS for other things ;) ha ha
  • Catwoman69y2k
Incidentally, I could totally picture you writing this as it went from the direction of defining collaboration in both a simple (concise) and more complex(deeper) way....only to take us to more terms. Too bad "bohoictionary" is too clunky of a word but I think a space on your site for this stuff would be great! References of all these books would always be helpful so that we always have a spot to find all the lovely inspiration you find and be encouraged to add to it.

Oh, I see how this ship could steer itself. Just think, while someone else steers you and the first mate could have some fun in the ships cabin ;)
  • that's a great idea! maybe I will create a page on the blog, hmmmm I was thinking about that before, same thing for the books, I wish there was a cool widget that could link to a source where the books could easily be purchased for you readers....I will keep my eyes open :)

as far as definitions: would it be better as a page with definitions, or just the blog posts themself?
  • Catwoman69y2k
Im actually working on a dictionary as we speak. In my case it is a bit simpler as it is a dictionary/glossary for a fiction book that Im a big fan of. The terms I am covering are more for cultural items since this book surrounds these anthro creatures with wings that live on a world with tribal cultures like the old ways.

In your case, I see how you have to re-wrangle your thoughts every so often (like this entry where you got into other boho definitions outside of the collaboration), especially because your definitions are in depth CONCEPTS. That said, it might be best to have a page (vs just the blog posts) with just the definitions in a more concise form, and have each definition have a "Related blog posts" link underneath the definition. To me, pages are for static content (or rather, mostly static content). Blogs are more for the "as life is happening, I am doing or thinking these things." So, that is my reasoning of why I think the boho dictionary should be put in page(s).

However, I warn you, if the amount of definitions get too large before you do this, it might require more help or waiting for a time period where you are in the ambitious mood to plug away at this for a good long period of time. Just remember that with the new site you have going, there is room for some more open-source meeting of the minds that might aid in this. Up to you though since I know that this is the method *I* would do it, which may not fit into how you steer your ship. ;)

I believe there is a widget for what you describe. I know Drupal has one for sure. Im working on alot of sites actually but I have a "fun time" slot where I have been getting into fun stuff like that. A boho template has been formulating in my head as well. Been trying things the boho way which is probably what is doing it.

Incidentally if you ever feel like collaborative sessions, I been loving what I am seeing with Google Wave. :)
  • I totally forgot about google wave, ha!!!! I will start a wave with you when I find my way back. I would like to pick up here and ride this ride with you ;)
  • Catwoman69y2k
These blogs are great "articles" more than blogs because they are more about a message and idea that can be universally understood and read, rather than a mere recollection of personal experience. Then again, maybe I think of them as articles because they are "the story of boho". :) I hope that you make an anthology someday. The imagery really helps get one in the mood.

PS: Catspiracy loves the 4 agreements. She is also going through some personal growth that is really changing how she thinks. Despite that I am not on the same type of growth as her, life is growth so I am enjoying in watching the evolution.
  • thanks goddess,

it helps getting feedback. I do my best to listen to the voices that continue to call out, and I try to share our truths to help communicate. so appreciate your love always!

life is always about growth, we are all at different stages. takes self love and self awareness :)
