felt like striking up a conversation today about “follow the rainbows butterflies and bunnies”, it’s a “tagline” that we refer to a great deal in bohoworld. and as you might have noticed, we are not trying to over explain or identify too much of what we share with you, it’s very important to us for you to find yourself in our adventures………if your path should stumble upon us. (not everything in life is meant for everybody.)

I felt that it would be fun to share some of the inspirations behind “follow the rainbows butterflies and bunnies.”

our foundation:

when shone and I started brainstorming where the path was going to start, we knew without a doubt that passion and creativity were going to be our fundamental foundations. passion and creativity, the same things that fuel our relationship, as it does our path. which is how we even settled upon “bohemian crush” as the name of our company.

in the beginning, as we came together, we were each ready for something. we both knew it, it was a driving force in our enternal bodyclocks, a desire that was leading us to each other. I remember sitting together one day, while our friendship was underway and we were getting to know each other, we were able to come to a mutual and blissful conclusion.

from our “friendship” point of view in the beginning, we already had succeeded. we were grateful for each other’s friendship and companionship. as things progressed, and a relationship was upon the horizon we were able to have a heart to heart. we discussed our personal views on marriage, children, career, and various other qualities of life and sexual explorations. Without judgement or coercion, we both shared our desires, our needs, and some goals. the amazing common attributes we both held dear really helped fire up the torch!

1. we both were not interested in marriage, and in both of our experiences had known this the entire time we have lived on this planet.

2. we both opted out not to have children and raise a family. both of us had never been programmed to do this, and it was a huge connection part of our beginning. it is not our wish to prevent others from following their bliss. and when the option of children is not unanimous, it can bear a lot of pressure on the path. we love kids, we are eternal kids ourselves.

3. we had both dabbled a bit in the real world, corporate world, etc. working days, clocking in, clocking out, committing so much of our own beloved time and energy into other applications that were not part of any choice of us except that it payed the bills. and we both knew that this was not our future.

4. we both desired sexual and quality life explorations. we both sought trust, kindness, desire, and creativity.

from these points, we made a committment to each other right at that point:

knowing that we would always be the best of friends, we agreed that the path of lovers would last so as long as the path was full of love, creativity, bliss, and a passion that was uncomparable to anything else that we had thus experienced. if that were to ever fade, then we both were releasing each other to alter paths, or to follow the path where that passion was at it’s peak. always with love kindness and support.

our comittment to each other guided the inspiration for our mission statement for bohocrush: here are some key inspirations

* to live love and share the creative path, honoring the path and where it curves and turns to follow creativity and pleasure

* to be a life long source of inspiration and connection with any and all who cross our path: members, artists, participants, etc.

* to celebrate life and desire a common platform where we can all share adventures. our journey is unique to our own, creates a lot of different timings for strangers friends and family alike.

thinking of you all while we are working on the new planet boho. we have so many fun things to share with you. thank you all for your patience and time. we are happy bohemians creating away in our laboratory! we love you!!!

  • what creates our unique perspective and style?

    bringing our own perspective and not doing what we think others would want. there is no deepness and richness to living a life only trying to please or make others like us. maturation and character develops over time, we are always growing and expanding and evolving, there is never an end to that process. the less time we spend honoring and expanding our own true path the more we sacrifice ourselves and become only shallow images of ourselves.

    it's important to view life from "the big picture" to incorporate awareness and understanding and not limit ourself however to an isolated "me me me" path. take the time to listen to others, take the time to question others, take the time to reflect. Take the time to get to know oneself and identify true desire, true likes, and true wants.

    It's a juggling process, as I can speak from my own perspective. I posted recently on my tumblr

    keep love, kindness, and compassion in our hearts to ourselves and to others, and any obstacle truly becomes a magical life lesson. :)

    Yeah. That pretty much elaborates on my interpretation of the "Follow the rainbows butterflies and bunnies" :)

  • one step at at time :) shone has always quoted to me "giving more to receive our less" it's a concept I struggled with in the beginning

    I have so much more in my life than I have ever had now, and it was all through giving more. incredible, and each evolution, I am able to give even more. and it's a kind of giving that only comes from what you have and not the kind of giving that comes from what you don't have :) once I finally understood the difference, I found a lot of peace within :)

    Yea. I figure that it will take a while. Ive gotten pretty far already. I feel that understanding how to receive (which apparently from what you just responded is the polar opposite of what you were once in the dark about) is like the last part of the puzzle. Im happy that i can see most of the picture but it is gonna rock when I get that last section that lets me see every inch of the picture. What is the opposite of "giving more to receive our less"? I guess Ill try and find that out. Burning Man world let me learn some of it but by the time I got back to the default world, it got muddled again. lol.
  • everything takes time, what really matters is to be kind and easy on yourself without heavy judgement for your actions, because in the end this is what causes us to judge and be hard on others, it always comes from the source :)

    "follow the rainbows butterflies and bunnies” = follow our imagination, inspiration, and influences. Develop your own because we all know that no 2 butterflies look alike. :)

  • yes! "no 2 butterflies look alike" i agree! and often times.. the same butterfly (inspiration..lesson..) will come into your life in many ways and many forms.

    When the universe is trying to show us something it sometimes takes a while to connect with that message. perhaps you aren't ready to hear it or perhaps you aren't seeing what is in front of us. in many forms there is the same lesson. It may take months, years, hours, or moments to realize, but it will come to you when it is right for your mind and relevent to life's journey.

    when it enters my life I like to acknowledge the way it has traveled to me and be thankful, then sink my toes into it and begin absorption. infusion. dissection. practice.

    rainbows, butterflies, and bunnies are fleeting, beautiful, whimsical inspirations that connect us all to each other. We are all connected down to the simplest form. "rainbows, butterflies, and bunnies" are what attract our common energy.
  • I can't begin to explain how amazing it is to watch you and shone follow your bliss.. AND to share your path with the universe. You two have created a world that has opened my eyes, my heart, my mind.. life is just so clear now. I'm thankful to have met you both on my path. it has launched me into bliss :)
