we’ve been home now a week. we were actually arriving last week about the time I am starting to write this blog post today! Funny how time and day can take you back to an event so easily. I’ve enjoyed collecting all kinds of pictures from the event on my tumblr, a place where I collect things, so that I can then present them in a blog post. I’ve collected quite a few bounce pictures, and am still waiting to get more from our cameras. One thing I learned after our second burning man together, is that the memories via a photo are timeless. the memories never fade. sometimes after a period of time has gone by, a photo can trigger the greatest feeling or thought, and sometimes it hits just when we need it.

we’ve had the honor of working on a lot of projects with champagne and bacon. they never stop learning and trying to do their best always. they have really made reno a better and more magical place to live. thanks to them we have enjoyed so many artists that just might not have given reno a second chance. they were talking about the big bounce for quite some time before it happened. and let me tell you, there is power in a voice, in thought and in intention, when an energy can focus their ability on a task for an extended period of time, magic is always the result.
that magic filled our hearts at the big bounce. it provided magical eargasms over and over again. there were so many hugs and love with all of the participants. the weather was perfect! and of course I am not trying to rub it in if you were not able to attend. I am simply expressing the overflowing joy that the event created for those of us who did go.

beldentown, ca is a great spot to have a music festival. thank you boys for putting us next to so many amazing people. I so loved the big hug I got from Dj Laura! That girl is so amazing. I must admit I watched her walk back and forth and could never take my eyes off her.

and something funny, everytime I have seen the artists of gooferman or circus metropolus I have only seen them clowned up. they were all there and I totally didn’t realize it was them until they came up to me and then it made me realize. ha ha Vegas, I’m so glad you were wearing those dog tags! come to find out they were camped right across the street! 
ha ha, I love it when things happen like that! so can’t wait to go frolick in the city with those klowns!!!
many great connections were made while at the big bounce. so excited to see what is going to come out of this time spent in the forest. i know that there will be a lot of eargasms I can tell you that much!

I went to bed pretty early saturday night, I missed the rest of @bassnectar set’s, and @beatsantique and Zoe Jakes! but I just couldn’t miss my time with @randomrab who was playing at 9am, and those of you who know me, know that I do not wake up early ever, but for rab, I was making a point to be ready! I will catch beats and Zoe again, oh yes I will. The festival season is not even nearly over yet, and I love having something to look forward too!

looking for the “old” planet boho?
in case some of you might be noticing now, our planet boho is evolving and changing. Why? well honestly, from the beginning it was set up as a butterfly net, we needed something to bring our community together, our goal was to always create a permanent community inside of bohocrush. When Ning changed their policies about not allowing any kind of adult content, we had to start changing things over sooner. Part of being boho is being able to self express, and our community is diverse, and that means an abundance of self expressions. Shone and I have been researching community platforms, policies, etc. and searching for the best platform that brings it all in, provides for more interaction, and connection.
we are almost there!!!
the new planet boho has been successfully loaded onto our new server, and we are building away. there is one last update that we are waiting for from the developers, and when that comes, (within the next 30 days) we will be able to realease it to our members of bohocrush.
we appreciate all of your love and energy in this location. we have wonderful things to share with you and very soon! thanks for your love and thank you so much for helping us create a very loving, artistic, and connected community! we are so blissed out to share this adventure with all of you. we have some treats for some of you lovelies.

ANNOUNCING SOLARSTICE 2009, A FUNDRAISER FOR THE PERSHING COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT SPONSORED BY BLACK ROCK SOLAR! Sunday June 21
Black Rock Solar, the City of Reno, and the West Street Market present Solarstice 2009. Sunday, June 21, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at the West Street Market! This is a great opportunity to connect with friends and the community, listen to some great music, drink a beverage of your choice, and celebrate the first day of summer (and Father’s Day), all the while supporting Black Rock Solar and the Pershing County School District.
This event will feature musical performances by Kate Cotter, Tyler Stafford, and Leroy Virgil or Hellbound Glory; fire performance by Controlled Burn; a raffle with many fabulous prizes including TWO BURNING MAN TICKETS; beer supplied by Great Basin Brewery; and food and refreshment from the fabulous vendors in West Street Market. Admission is free, but a $10.00 wristband includes one beer, one raffle ticket, and discounts from the fabulous vendors in the West Street Market!
Black Rock Solar is a non-profit 501(c)(3) in the business of gifting solar power to schools and non-profits to marginalized and rural communities. As you drive to the Black Rock Desert, you drive past something in excess of 100 kW of solar generation facility installed by Black Rock Solar. To date, we have installed in excess of 300kW of solar generation capacity in Northern Nevada, saving schools and non-profits well over one million dollars.
The Pershing County School District has been hit very hard by budget cuts. Of approximately 40 teachers, 6 have been laid off in the past year. Black Rock Solar has raised about 90% of the resources needed to build a 70kW solar array, which will save the PCSD in excess of $11,000.00 per year (at today’s rates!), and all at no cost to them. But we’re still about $15,000 short of what we need to pay for this project.

shone loves to shoot with solid backgrounds. it really shows the magic of the individual. the unique smile, body movements, and personality. he is really drawn to white. I honestly think it’s his favorite. People are so beautiful as they are, it’s a great time to fill your sensory up.
kendra was super fun to shoot! she had so many delicious outfits for us to work with. we are so thankful for her love and patience. she never gave up letting us know that she wanted to shoot with us! and thank goodness. we appreciate the “want to” in peoples. cause as you all know, we are never going to tell you that you have to shoot with us. this is about all of us following our bliss, and the only way to achieve bliss is to get involved based on desire and want.
as artists, we are not able to crank out content quickly, the artistic experience is never compromised. patience is a virtue of our art, and is one that we hold in high regard. as are all of you. we love you all with every bit of vibrancy we have.

ahhhhhh, so many thoughts and inspirations running through our minds right now! as this is posting we are celebrating our transfer to our new server being completed!!! This means once we return from our art show this weekend, we will start uploading the community and getting it working! we are getting close our little butterflies, so close!
