so let’s start a conversation. We would like to spend some time getting to know you all a little more. We would like to take advantage of this time while shone and I are working and tweaking away with our new blog and new online wordpress mu/buddypress community (planet crush)!
currently I have written posts about photoshoots that we have released, events we have attended, behind the scenes, pictures of the day, or various random things we are interested in and manifesting etc. I have been wanting to and learning how to be a writer, and I am really enjoying the time with our blog. I get to practice, and when the inspiration comes up, get to share.
but what about you? what inspires you, what are some things that you like to do? what kind of music do you like? what are some of your favorite websites? what is your favorite food? etc. We are really curious about getting to know you. We have a lifetime of magical adventures to share with you! we are not going anywhere! so let’s start getting more acquainted with each other eh?

I’m practically speechless right now! The amazing heidalicous is delicious!!! I have to give so much props to @nopantsdance for all of her love and help. She was a tremendous stylist and helpful assistant! We had such an incredible night!!

I remember the girls having a conversation, cause it was heidalicous’s first photo shoot topless! and we wanted to do our best to make her super comfy! What a brilliant idea @nopantsdance came up with! We would all be topless! It is much easier to work half naked. We all loved it! I’m sure shone doesn’t have any objections either.
We are so happy that we got to spend an evening with heidi. She is an incredible woman! Makes the best vegan sushi and chocolate martinis! Hanging out at the lounge is like no other experience in reno. You never know who or what or who and what you are going to see! Always a big smile delivered and always a kind heart! We love you Heidi!!!!! You have one of the most entertaining families we know! And if you have not met them yet, and I could hardly believe that’s possible, but if you havn’t yet, no worries, there is always time.

when shone and I first started building the website, we immediately wanted boys on our site! we knew we wanted to keep our balance of energy and adventure for all. we started out with a few guys, just didn’t have the ability to keep the motor running. we quickly learned that it would be some time before we would be able to. a lot of energy is placed in scheduling photoshoots as it is. we decided that we would continue with small steps…… one step at a time.
around the middle of last year, we started to see more interest from more guys. we were very happy to see this! and if any of you know shone, really know him, then you will know that he likes to store photoshoots like a squirrel stores it’s nuts! hence, we started to store up on male photoshoots! we are so happy to see an even greater amount of interest from you guys now! more and more everyday! I actually had to figure out how to optimize our photo shooting ability to accommodate the boys! bring it on!!! I would gladly take on this role anyday!! and as if that wasn’t exciting enough! @nopantsdance and I have been learning how to operate the cameras! shone is teaching us how to shoot!!! We both successfully shot our dear friend Justin who is a performer in bohoburlesque! of course you will always have the option, wether you would prefer to shoot with shone or us. we like to maintain optimal energy and ability for everybody involved. so if you are interested in shooting with us. please leave a comment or contact me.

captain canada is a dear dear friend, and we have really enjoyed watching his comfort levels expanding. he is a loving and spunky man! can drive the fastest car, the roughest trail, and even drives many things that any mere mortal would ever find the opportunity to do so! have a dirt bike? need somebody to know just how amazing your vehicle is or can ride? captain is the man!
and whenever you are in need for a superhero! just hang out with us at one of our events! and you’ll be sure to see a superhero in action! the captain can be spotted with his sidekick duble d!! (in the comic it’s beaver boy we know! however this is our story, and we can change the names and actors as needed ! )

as an effort to reach out to as many of you as possible, I am writing two posts (trying to keep it easier to digest all of the information, and because firefox freaks out when my blogs are too long!)
I am trying to answer the many questions you all have while we are somewhat and mostly unavailable for emails, phone calls, texts, etc. If you want to know what is coming up, and going on in our boho world, we recommend reading this post. Our blog will forever be a place where we will communicate all of the magical adventures occurring in our lives!

1. we are in the process of transferring our website to a new server. we are doing this:

An event 2 years in the making, Hot Shot After Dusk, in association with Champagne and Bacon, BohoCrush and Robotronia, has finally been able to bring the genius that is San Francisco’s Random Rab. A grueling touring schedule, combined with music production, technological invention and travels to the Middle East has made it impossible to bring this highly revered producer to the area. We are extremely happy to have him part of our annual Android’s Dungeon event.
Random Rab offers a powerful, timeless contribution to sonic exploration. Playing only his own originally produced music live, the depth and craftsmanship of his music is remarkable. With an array of drum machines, samplers, sequencers, and instruments, it is a clear devotion to expression and perfection. The beats are smooth, bold, and overwhelming. The original vocals, melodies and hitting bass merge seamlessly into a tapestry of unique and unexpected journeys that are highly danceable and uplifting.
Hot Shot the Robot will be on-hand interviewing people and filming some “on-location” footage for his upcoming talk show on SNCAT entitled “Hot Shot After Dusk.” In addition the show will feature BohoBots and the musical stylings of d6, Munzbot, Coop da Loop, and Ryan Howard. Robotronia will be unveiling all their self-created visual effects and lighting.

going through some magical and wonderful growth processes. we have been doing some work, acquiring a new hosting company, and have had to make some back end changes.

yahooooo! I love being in pictures! and I love being in pictures on the playa!!! it’s such a different world out there. so full of non stop entertainment, and various activities. you just never know what you are going to stumble onto or next too!
the playa is filled with amazing art, passion, and creativity. you seriously are jumping down the rabbit hole when you hit the playa. it’s amazing!!! we are so appreciate and grateful for the creative community that burning man groups together. it’s just such a fun playground.
the metal work of this art piece is just out of this world. the time and love dedicated to the metal and the oil derrick take so much cooperation, love and time, from people! if it were not for the artists giving their time, their weekends, their holidays, their every last second, things like this would not be possible. and what’s even better, is that the people give with a smile, with love in their hearts, and with gratitude. they all believe in the giving for so many others!

what a fire ball it was wouldn’t you say?
shone took kaycee and I out during the early afternoon. it was HOT! I remember it feeling so hot I could barely catch my breathe. It was awesome! I always remember to slow my movements and energy when I am on the playa during the heat of the day. It helps so much! I recommend it to all of you.
We each picked a statue that we wanted to shoot with. You may have already seen kaycee’s shoot. I enjoyed walking at a slow pace, and of course because of the big boots I was in! and I really enjoyed just taking in all of the magical and beautiful energy around me. I have to say, it was a magical day.
Kudos to my baby love and his love of shooting. The playa has taught us this important aspect of life and photography. Anytime is the best time to shoot! Be in the moment, and capture life as it is happening. No need to plan or make a big fuss. The universe is right there always, just enjoy!!! I am always in awe at the ease, and grace my love always displays anytime he is shooting. Regardless of temperature, time, event, etc. He always has that magnificent love and care. Anytime is the best time to shoot with him. He truly is the most incredible man and artist!
