This is the first time that the entire group has played in reno! A couple years ago for our convergence party in reno, Boenobo and Vegas were able to attend. We are so excited to play with them!
I have been in communications with Boenobo regarding my performance for NYE. Bohoburlesque performs before and after them at our upcoming event! After our first series, the boys will begin to set up their equipment.

some important changes to our ning network: planet boho
greetings all of you magical earthlings!
I thought I would write this post to let you all know of some changes occurring with planet boho. a couple of weeks ago ning announced that it would no longer host adult content. they gave a big loving and long explanation as to why. the short story is that google does not wish to advertise with adult content. For the last year or so we have been paying a monthly amount to keep google ads out of our community. As you can see from our blog and our website we do not use advertisements. This was a decision we made before we even went live with our site. Shone is all about the artistic view of his work, this included each and every aspect of his components. At a certain point in time, he may allow some, but it’s going to be of his choosing, how creative and artistic and adult friendly they are, and so much more.
Adult-even though we do not see our community as very adult, we have learned from prior experiences with myspace, facebook, and other various social platforms, that we are indeed seen as adult. <(yes there are aspects coming soon that are going to be way more adult, but up to this point, we have showcased more of a foreplay and flirty nature with our adventures. and now that we think we have a grasp of how to navigate this change with planet boho, we will be able to return to building our ADULT network. :) yes it will be more adult and explicit. stay tuned.)>
So as of now, we are going to start advising our community members to refrain from content that is more adult in nature on planetboho. To refrain from posting any content with nudity involved. We wish to keep planet boho as a place to continue to connect with people, promote events, and give non-members a place to feel connected to our bohemian adventures, and in thus to share theirs with us! Planet Boho is an international and diverse community, and we hope it will continue to build as so.
We have chosen to stop paying a monthly fee to have google ads removed from the community. This was a decision that we made, so that we could use the money to in turn pay for our new artisitc and minimalist profile/photoblog/community inside of bohocrush. It’s all about making your dollars count! We will announce at a later time, and a near later time when this new platform is ready! We have really enjoyed doing photoblogs, and wish to build this within our bohemian community!

The POTDS’s will start becoming a way for us to share various information, especially pertaining to the artists and performers involved, links to their twitters, myspace, etc. We have an amazing community, and we wish to share them with the world. Our goal is to spread the love and light near and far!
For the non members and members who participate on planet boho, we will continue to use this as a what is going on with our community. Events, etc. So far this has been a key feature in our community. A place to share personal blogs, inspiration, and adventure. A great community to network, and one community where you will only be able to find out what events we are participating in. So if you want to know when and where to play with the bohemians in the real world, you best be keeping your pretty little eyes and ears in the community.
Many times there are lots of questions as to what is bohocrush? And many people are curious, they just are not too sure about what we are. We are hoping that planetboho will start to become a real stepping ground, for newcomers to participate with veterans, to understand the importance of community, love, positivity, and happiness. Wether they watch from afar, the newly displayed main page, or are ready to jump in and take the first step. We are always going to be here!

If you are a member you will be able to click through and navigate with ease. If you are a non member you can either be a voyeur and watch from afar, or you can sign up for a profile, and still await moderation from shone or myself. It all began Thursday night when we had the honor of shooting the flawless Ashlee B Stone. One of the hottest and sweetest drag queens we have ever met! We love you goddess! We had such a great time with you! We first met her flawlessness when bohoburlesque performed at the white party. ( we still need to get the pictures up!) and she was incredible! I knew right away that I wanted to get her in our pictures! I wouldn’t stop until we had succeeded! The only thing that has changed now that we have worked with her is that we wish to work with her more and more and more! I asked her to perform in our burlesque show Feb 13 when we return to neutron! and guess what! she said yes!!!!!

she is so larger than life! @nopantsdance and I had the greatest time playing with her, watching her play dress up and showing us her sexy and edgy side!!! She brought the new cd of Brittney Spears, “circus” and it was awesome! Brittney is back!! It was the first time I have heard any of Brittney’s new songs, and I loved them all! For this shoot, we knew that this fabulous and tall drag queen was going to need space! Thank you Meta and Audiologic Studios for allowing us to use your space. It was the perfect height so that we could get this larger than life personality in the studio and shoot her larger than life! It was incredible and so mind blowing! She worked it like no other!
Her flawlessness is usually a blonde, and we really enjoyed playing with her as a brunette too!
We are so addicted to this magical earthling! Brian, her manager and co promoter, was just as much a pleasure to have there, helping, and getting her flawlessness a rocking! We look forward to more adventures with them both!
While Ashlee was in the studio we also used this opportunity to get some video of her for “planet crush” a music video that Meta has been working so passionately on! We love getting the updates at geek night! The video is turning out better than we could ever imagine. Meta has done a fantastic job of adding in community, and capturing so many essential elements of what our adventure is about! We are so honored! The video will debut NYE, around 4am when the @brcallstars play on the stage! Better rest up, cause the party will not be dying out early NYE! The video makes me squeeeeel each time I see it!
Meta was also able to get some video of shone and I together for the video! I cannot believe that he was able to accomplish this. We were big dorks, and had so much fun! Making out and shone even kissed my boobies! Although I don’t think he was filming quite yet! I get so giddy around shone! I love him so much! I am really happy that Meta was able to capture a piece of our world as a couple!!
@nopantsdance, shone, and I also did some voice recording after her flawlessness had to go home and get her beauty rest! The sound booth is just like the one Puff Daddy takes with him on tour! When you put the headphones on it is pure silence! Although I sounded a bit nasally, I am still recovering from a cold. But I am hoping that dj femur can work some magic on it! At first I was not sure what to say. Really!!! I had a mind blank. Thank goodness Kendra was there to prompt me. She knew just what questions to ask me. Meta, I hope the recording came out okay. Let us know if you need more, we are just a hop skip and a jump away from your recording studio. We would be happy to do more. Even while I am writing this blog I can tell and feel your energy. I know you are busy and working away, editing, and putting your masterpiece together! We are so excited to see it!

POTD: Welcome HOME Scott and Marla!

not sure if many of you are aware, but scott and marla are back in town for a short time from china before they head back out to New Zealand! we are so excited to see them to give them hugs and kisses! we know that they have been decompressing and reflecting about all of their adventures! we can hardly wait to hear about all of them.
marla was studying abroad while scott has taken a leap of faith. leaving his secure 9-5 job and jumping out into the world to take pictures and travel, and share their adventures and make a living off of their passions! we are so happy for them!!!
I am so thankful for planetboho, it’s been giving us a sneak peak into some of their adventures! Have you all read “The Man who changed the world?” Well if you have not, I highly recommend it. Gives great perspective of life, what we have, and how important it is to always share love and light! always!!!! and not to spend too much time feeling sorry for ourselves or being whiny, we simply must understand that what we have should not be taken for granted! sometimes we just have to see life through others eyes to really get what we have.
I was just browsing around on the planet and saw that Scott has recently changed his profile. I went to look to see what new things have arrived. I was delighted with this new and wonderful exhibit of some of his recent works while in china.

Hot Shot is the coolest robot around! We are having so much fun with him, and feel so fortunate to have the opportunities that we do to interact with him. It’s not everyday that you get to interact with a talking robot that has a spectacular penis!
You may have seen him on the playa, at coachella, and many places throughout the reno area. He is funny, smart, and loves to engage in conversations with you! I love that the most. It’s not just an object, but you really get the feeling of a connection with this spectacular robot!

Last year for the first annual androids dungeon, we all enjoyed Hot Shot before the spectacular night got underway. **And I would like to mention here, if you have not heard of the second annual androids dungeon Jan 17, 2009 back at the studio on 4th, with Random Rab, then consider yourself to be aware of this knowledge now! Thank you Robotronia and Champagne and Bacon! Hot Shot really helped set the vibe for all of us silly girls! We had such an incredible time! Really looking forward to the next one!!!
During our fundraiser for the Reno Decompression this year, Hot Shot again attended! Check out our pictures here. He really helped get a lot of attention from passerbyers. Of course the girls in bikini I’m sure helped, but he really added some Fun to our event! And guess what, I did not realize that there was video from that day too! last week after yoga at the yogic lounge (the greatest place to take a class ever) I headed to *rawjuvenation with Zach. I have been meaning to make it there for so long now. I have to admit, the fact that they now have smoothies, juices, and fresh food sealed the deal for me!

I love raw foods! They make me happy, and they give me lots of splendid energy. I am not 100% raw. I am not at that level. Maybe someday, for now, what I really enjoy is having plenty of raw foods and those who enjoy raw foods in my life. I love connecting with so many of them online. They give me so much inspiration!!! Happiness, peacefullness, and 24/7 LOVE!
In february, as long as the dates work out, (keeping my fingers crossed) I am really looking forward to meeting @dhrumil, @PhilipMcCluskey, @galadarling, and I am sure a lot more! at cafe gratitude, one of my favorite raw food restaurants ever! A fantastic group of some all raw, and some more moderate such as I. It’s so great to know a group of people who are very accepting and non judging of any level one might be. Each is pursuing their own bliss, and that is the best ever! I have gotten to know them through twitter, and forever I will be grateful! Even while they are so far away from me, it still feels like they are so close. ahhhhhhhh, warm and fuzzies!!!!! Tweets and twitpics! Keeps life together.

Many of you may or not be aware of raw foods. Many of you may hear the words and have quickly brushed it off. But for those of you that have taken the time to get to know more about the delicious raw foods, have found your own reward. Which is what the raw food path is all about. Each to their own. When you get the opportunity to share it with somebody else! wow, pure delight!

This was my pleasure, when I was able to share this experience with Zach. He is quite new to the raw food scene, and is enjoying discovering new yummy and delicious treats. He will never give up his pho, and I would hardly hope that he ever would!! What I enjoy is getting to sit down at the counter at raw juvenation and seeing the genuine smile on his face as he orders his cocao smoothie and salad with tahini dressing! I sat and listened as he described to me how amazing this smoothie tasted as compared to the ones that he had been learning to make. Discovery and reward! The genuine smile he exhibited felt so great, made me all warm and fuzzy!
While we sat at the counter, we enjoyed raw food samples, oh they were delicious. Make sure you leave yourself some time to request some samples! You won’t be disappointed!

It took me a while looking over the menu to decide on what juice I wanted. They all looked incredible! I am thankful that it will take me some time to try them all. That’s not even counting the smoothies.
Now keep in mind this about raw foods. When requesting a juice or a smoothie, understand, that one of the ingredients that goes into them, is LOVE. Pure LOVE that is shared with all who make and consume. This kind of LOVE is not instant. It takes a dedicated preparation to ensure the right amount of LOVE is added. So if you are in a hurry, consider satisfying your appetite with the convenient and fresh to go food they have available. And make sure to come back when you have more time. Raw food preparation does not make shortcuts, and cannot meet your demands if you have unrealistic expectations. I think this is important to understand if you are new, or if you are visiting for the first time.

do you all remember this a couple of nights ago? this was our view here in reno. what are these planets again?
This Week:
lately we have been quite preoccupied with brainstorming, navigating, brainstorming, navigating, etc. 2009 is coming, and as of January 2009 all by the graces of two little self taught bohemians, we will have had bohocrush up for 2 years now. (this blog on wordpress is a lot shorter time). It’s wonderful to think about our 2 year production thus far!!!!
we have lots of things that we are working on, some new features, some new additions, and so on, and have been quite obsessed and spending a lot of time in the basement, working it all out. when you are self taught, and working on growing an empire….one becomes quickly adjusted to long durations of “figuring it out” time. thank goodness we only work 3 feet from each other all day long.
I get to flash him and vice versa! It really helps break up the monotony!
so yes, we have been pretty occupied. but there is still a lot of fun going on that we are so fortunate to have the opportunity to take part it. I thought that I would let you know of some of the things that we are loooking forward to this week. in case you want to jump on in!
tues dec 9th: geek night at the amendment 21: georgette bartending
*this night is dead night at the UNR, and there will be a band playing. I can’t remember the name, but be prepared for I don’t know what. just like I like it!
wed dec 10th: geek night at the amendment 21: georgette bartending
*david will be kicking up some tunes
*starting wed jan 21, every other wed will have music brought to you by
champagne and bacon. the entertainment list is confirmed. I know of one for sure
El Papa Chango!!! eeeeeee! I will still be bartending! stay tuned for more info about this!

While we have been working on this newest release, we discussed how we were pretty amazed that this is our first fire photoshoot release! We are surrounded by amazing fire performers! Everywhere we look!
And thankful to that, we have had lots of practice of shooting fire. Although we still want more and more and more and more.
Fire is not an easy thing to photograph. Especially when you want the individual to show just as much as the fire. It takes a lot of repetitive focus, and let me tell you, there are no automatic settings on shone’s camera that he would ever use to capture the spirit of the flame. Regardless of the time and effort it takes to master it, (isn’t that the fun part!) we are here to enjoy this journey for a lifetime.
This was the first shoot that I was not able to attend. I had to bartend. I was in a little frenzy as I awaited the group to return! Yet it was such a treat to see the finished result. Granted, I LOVE every single shoot, and hope that I never have to miss another one! Yet I am so delighted with the results!, that it was worth the wait! Shone is an amazing artist, (I know I keep saying that, and I will continue for the rest of my life!) his patience, love for life, beauty, nudity, and the skill of the performer makes it the best journey ever!
A great collaboration between performer, photographer, light, and fire. Who’s ready to shoot more flames! And surely you all will agree, the more skin the better. Flames have such an amazing effect on the skin! Makes us all warm and fuzzy, and in this aspect, more ways than one!
The Trio rocked it like no other! We are so thankful for your love and energy, and everlasting creativity!!! We look forward to many more adventures with this talented group of goddesses.
