Happy Halloween! Zombie Makeup tips for the Reno Zombie Crawl
Hello my loves..
With the Reno Zombie crawl just around the corner i thought i’d leave some helpful makeup tips to make you the most dead of the undead 
Things you will need:
*If you’re on a budget this wound is for you (i’ll list a few options.. you may have it around the house)*
box of facial tissue or toilet paper
and/or cotton balls
black or brown paint
bottle of school glue
fake blood or red food coloring
Now…
Take the tissue/toiletpaper and wad it up into the desired size for your would. Use the glue to stick the lumpy tissue to your skin. Mold the wound into whatever shape you like.. big and open or lumpy and torn. Let the tissue dry. remember.. the more glue you use the longer it takes to dry so use enough to saturate the tissue, but not slop it on or it isn’t going to stay very well. You can use a hair dryer to hurry the process along. When dry it should appear stiff and lumpy (hehee) use the cotton balls for added texture.
When the tissue dries you can CAREFULLY cut pieces open for the appearance of an actual holes in your skin. If you’re feeling really creative you can use fake bone pieces or parts of last nights fried chicken and stick it inside the wound to make it look like a BIG nasty bite
Now.. use the black/brown paint on the lumps of cotton balls and as shading on the inner corners of the wound. this will give you the appearance of coagulated blood and a deeper looking would. cover the entire wound with the fake blood of your flavor
* before you make your wounds.. i suggest covering your exposed skin with white makeup powder or even baking flour

If you’re looking to spend money.. this is a GREAT Tutorial video with awesome product suggestions. If you can’t afford the laytex.. or if you’re allergic then you can use glue as suggested above

what a thrill it is always getting to connect with your friends in ways that most others most likely do not! a time when we are all at our most vulnerable. all with the hopes of doing our best, and making it the greatest experience ever!
this weeks photo shoot is no different than the rest. we have enjoyed getting to watch several of our friends grow and transform into magical earthlings! we can remember alicia many years ago when it was her first burn. she was quite the shye and silent girl.
the last few years has shown a grown woman, transforming into a beautiful and magical goddess. she is away in LA, doing her best to make appointments for modeling and acting. HEY! if any of you like what you see, please get in touch with us.. we believe in this girl!

the “trio” had never been in a photoshoot before. they showed up, rocked it, and bam! three photoshoots in one night, with three girls. usually not that easy.
1. when you have three people together in a shoot, especially in our small quarters, it’s difficult to get all faces looking right.
2. especially when these faces are new to shooting.
the “trio” were meant to be in pictures!! they are just as entertaining to watch during the shoot as they are to view the final product.
we are so thankful that ryano introduced us to these beauties. fun, sexy, and very talented individuals. is there anything you girls can’t do?
make costumes, fire spin, fire hula, hula, go go dance, and they have joined bohemian burlesque, and I am sure there are many more things that they can do, we just simply have more to discover.

today our trampoline shoot could not happen. ha ha we did not get all of the parts for it! bahahwahhaahaha…nevertheless we like to use what Tim Gun says and it works so well on the show Project Runway. “make it work” we never give up. we knew we would use our time wisely….we had two amazing goddesses who were all ready to shoot. plan b! why not acro yoga!

so today….we decided plan b would be acro yoga on some rocks…why…because the energy was there, it drew the girls in…and we were in jowee’s magical space. a power source for her…and it was impossible to resist the love pulsating from the surroundings!
the air was fresh and inviting, cool, and crisp. the girls were “rock” stars as I liked to refer to them as today! they moved so effortlessly, and so magically across the rocks and each other. to be in that energy with the girls today was truly a gift. another magical gift from the universe. thank you..what a magically delicious weekend it has been!
the greatest decompression EVER!!
our hearts are overfilled with joy! we had a spectacular evening. We got to see and hug so many people! it was amazing!
it’s amazing what can be done when an entire community opens up, connects, provides love, energy, effort, and bam! seriously the greatest decompression ever!
there was so much love in those buildings last night! it was incredible! the outside area was fantastic! made me feel like I was right on the playa! the burn barrels helped warm my ass up so many times! the art cars, the art! wow! zsu zsu right in reno! really, it is possible to be surrounded by so much inspiration and phenomenal people!!! really it is! come to reno…you’ll see for yourself!
I saw many cameras! and I am hoping that many of you are participants on our decompression community site, this will remain the decompression community! upload your pictures, share them with your community year round! I can only imagine what next year is going to bring!
we took around 1400 ourselves. mainly of our girls on stage, and our friends and “family” throughout the night…and we do have lots of friends and “family” that attended, so we have so many! we be getting them as soon as we can!
I tried my best to walk the perimeter…ha ha never made it to bliss. I gave it my best. But every two feet or so was a new hug to exchange, and friends to connect with. I heard that bliss went off…as I had no doubts! What was your experience at bliss…share with this girl please. The decorations were awesome! Master Sodium rocked it! so do please tell…and do please upload pics so I can see!!! haha
I saw so many amazing acts at reno underground. Not only did the venue look amazing! Those boys over there are really working their butts off to keep improving, and adding more and more magic! Remi!! thank you so much for donating the bottle of Jameson for my performance!!! The DPW crew really appreciated it! as well as all of the many people who made sure to be at our stage ready for us to perform!!! It was heaven!!! Thank you all for the LOVE!!!!!

Decompression Event even better.
Please note: Club Underground and Bliss Nightclub require you to be 21 years
of age or older. These are also the only venues you will need a ticket for
entry. The Mangrove and the Alley are free access for anyone of any age.

The Atlantis has offered us a group room rate to for the evening of
Decompression!
Rates in the Motor lodge will be $79.00, for double/ double or king bed.
Rooms are available in smoking or non-smoking. All rooms have outdoor
access. Alix will try to have our initial 25 room block located at the back
portion of the motor lodge, to insure more privacy. She will add rooms to
the block as reservations deem necessary.
To insure the $79.00 rate, guests should call the Atlantis by Saturday,
October 11, 2008. Mention the Decompression rate when speaking to the
reservations agent.

we have had quite the adventures with drinking with clowns! we consider them family! these boys have hearts big as the universe, and their smiles fill the room while they play and delight!
yesterday we did a photoshoot with them. this was our third. and we hope only the beginning of lots more! we have learned the more you shoot a group, or an individual…you really start to develop a “photo” bond! the energy is relaxing….the shyness melts away…..(if you need an instant shyness breaker with a group of boys….my suggestion is to just flash your boobies….it really helps break the ice!) well hetero boys at least! ha! guess I should keep some cock on hand…..but the point being…it has been a real pleasure watching them grow. We were honored when they proclaimed “the official band of bohocrush!!!” our hearts are all warm and fuzzy!!!!
anyways….in case you have not heard, or attended one of their shows yet…I really wanted to encourage you to check them out! you’ll enjoy the laughs, the smiles….and all the booty dancing that they create!

I know I pretty much stalked you right at the last minute to get you to play at our camp! And it was so well worth the effort! You all blew our camp up on the playa!!!!! I was only so sad that I wore myself out before you all arrived. So goes the story with me.
However…..Having the opportunity to enjoy everyone in action last night was magical! Way more than I ever expected! I am really looking forward to seeing and enjoying that again!

Last night we tried to stream the show live on planetboho on ustream.tv. We played with it a bit while at the house before we went down. It was our first shot at it! Had we had more time, I know we will do a much better show. But like we always say, you can’t just talk about it! You have to do it! The more you do it, eventually the better you get at it! Failure and Successes are all part of the practice!
I started laughing hysterically when I realized there was no sound for a while! ha!! and the table was not as stable to keep the camera from bouncing! But hey! We are now prepared, have made our list of what we need:

extension cord
duct tape
These three elements will make it much easier to set up shop! and to get it done! We are excited!!! Soon we will figure out how to make a great place for our members of bohocrush, especially those that do not live in reno, who do not have the opportunity to come see one of our bohemian burlesque shows and opportunity to watch it from the comfort of their own home! Regardless of what city, state, or country they live in! We so love the internet!!!

quickie: I love shower time!
shower time is my favorite time of day, whenever it is it should happen.
I love our shower routine: thought I would share….
while shone is working, I get naked and skin brush. he is able to work on the computer right up until we go upstairs to the shower.
I get in the shower and he sits a small distance away on the tub and watches me shower while we talk. after I am finished, then I dry off while he gets in the shower. Then I sit on the tub and watch him shower while we talk.
**we are always brainstorming!!! ALWAYS!!******* so with that in mind, we use every opportunity we can.
We both confessed today that we don’t like to take showers apart now. It has become a daily routine!
I highly encourage lots of daily “routines” with couples. It’s a great way to spend time together!
