@gcrush making lists and preparations for burning man take 1!

We leave in less than a month, the time is ticking down, and all we can do is think, focus, and think out our process. This will be my 6th year on the playa, and for shone, well he is way into his teens. This will be our 4th year together as a couple. We’ve got some experience under our belts, but can one ever be fully prepared regardless of the amount of times one has ventured to the playa?

I think not……… shone and I are planning on attending the festival this year as virgins! We will be newcomers, and will just allow the energy of the event to guide us along our path. With the exception of throwing a theme camp, and a large party before the event even starts. We always have a lot on our plates, and couldn’t imagine it any other way!

From the last 3 years of being on the playa with shone, I have come to realize that less is more. Each year we seem to downsize more and more, think carefully about each item we bring, and what we plan on shooting me in, and such. It keeps getting easier and easier every year to have a smaller load, and to be fully aware of what we have, so when the time comes, less time is spent on efforts that don’t need to take away from our time on the playa. time out there is precious, and we only have a brief amount of time, we cherish every second.

So as I am laying out costumes, I am looking carefully, what will be worn and and ready for such events. (there is so much, it is so fun to prepare for such chaos!!!) For me, I like less than more on my costumes/outfits. Which during the day when it’s hot, and trust me, it’s hot, wearing a little g-string or some cute little ensemble is quite easy and natural for me to do. The nights however always present an obstacle, because I have such a tendency to not want to put on clothes! ha, I always catch a little honey love from my baby, he is never cruel, he simply reminds me of the fact that we lose precious time because I was not as prepared, and then he has to escort me back home , which is usually not always but usually the time he ends up heating up my warmy, and tucks me in. I’m such a day girl! However this year, I want to make at least one sunrise, so I am going to be better prepared.

regardless of what I wear on the playa, no matter how less or or not, is exactly what I would choose to wear in town, had I the opportunity. Unfortunately society is not quite ready for me at my comfort levels. I am okay with this for now. and thus am thinking of somethings I wish to take.

1. Pink hot shorts-look so great on, and makes you feel so sexy! and trust me, there is nothing sexier than being on the playa, half naked, with the feeling of the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair! I usually don’t like to go without bottoms, because I don’t like the playa dust building up and chafing the little girl. I love her too much!

** I recommend finding things that make you feel sexy, not just comfortable, don’t be afraid to push it to the next level of your exploration. You will be quite rewarded by your efforts when you get to strut it on the playa! Be there for yourself, enjoy yourself, go for less than more, and think sexy, sexy sexy!!!

2. Garter belts, stockings, and some sexy fun tops! The tops are not my usual M O, however, with the growth of our awareness on the playa, and for the mere fact that I don’t want shone too have to spend his entire time looking after me, it’s time to cover up a little more when not doing photo shoots. I’ve made this decision, and even though I love and feel so safe and comfy with all of my burner family, I love the peace and content that it will bring my baby love, and that is more important to me. He is so loving and protective over me! I am honestly spoiled rotten with his love! I like to return efforts on every single level I can! Because he won’t tell me otherwise, he would just kindly be on duty overhaul! oh I love him so much!

**but dear goddesses, use this time to awaken yourselves, if you have not already, at least walk topless and or in a g-string in front of strangers at least one hour! give yourself this challenge, you will love and celebrate the feeling!! You will remember it for the rest of your life! and if you are near us and want a picture, even if it’s for your personal possessions, let us know! we would love to capture that special moment. We have shared so many with so many goddesses, and honor and value each opportunity! don’t sit there and tell me your ass is too big, or you need to lose weight, YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT: let yourself out, send love to every single inch on that body! do it, and then come back after the burn, and tell us about your experiences here!!!! wether we got you in pictures or not! share share share

3. I love my tube socks! And my long boots! they keep your feet clean, a little sweaty, but they stay soft and no callouses develop on my feet. I don’t like hard feet, I am so picky about my feet. I always have to have them suckable and lickable for my baby love!

**just might have some bohemian lounge tube socks to pass out this year! you’ll have to check back in when we find our camp location to get yourself a pair of them

4. I have black boots and light tan boots, and you should see this pair of boots my baby wants to get me, they are a style of riding boots, yes, I said riding boots, going after a very modern and g style version of pony play attire, he he, working on ideas for a photo shoot on the playa this year! Oh I can hardly wait! I found this bridle thing too, wait until you see the pictures!

**make sure you bring that one pair of shoes that makes you feel all wild and ready for action! be kind and gentle to your shoes, and they will hold up for one showing on the playa! again, embrace your freedoms of energy and experience.

**I recommend to all you lovely ladies heading to the playa, to get yourself a comfy pair of boots, sure you want the high ones that look so cute, but you wear them for an hour and your feet start killing you, trust me, you will want every opportunity to get around, and the last thing you want are painful feet and toes! Save the really hot ones for saturday night, the night of all nights where all the ladies like to come out as their hottest selves!

5. riding crop- I am becoming quite entertained with my riding crop, it’s a great way to break the ice with new people, and I love leaving a little tap on their ass, nipples, pussy, or penis. I am gentle, and know my strength, as a former massage therapist I have great precision with pressure having a toy in this large adult playground is worth every last second of it! be your adult kid self! go for it, now is the time!

5. I think I might actually be free of the goddess menstrual cycle on the playa this year! oh I am keeping my fingers crossed. Yes, my body gets kookoo sometimes, and not sure what cards it is playing me this month, but for those of you who will be know this:

a. have a goddess purse
b. bring a few ziplock bags
c. bring baby wipes or other feminine hygiene cleaners-remember less is more, so use sparingly
d. you cannot dispose napkins or any products in the porta potties, this plugs them up and makes it difficult for dumping, please put the effort forward ladies, we all have to use a porta potty at some point, and it’s great to have respect for your fellow family.

6. skin brush and coconut oil- I’m a goddess of sun, I love it! but i know that my skin needs help if I am going to punish it! So I make sure to bring my skin brush and my coconut oil, so that everyday I am taking care of my skin. It feels so good, and keeps your skin so soft!!!

7. Hats- the best way to keep the sun off your head, or your body warm at night when you want to wear less clothing are hats! It’s so great to wear at night, because you need to protect your hair and keep it manageable. I’m always in ponytails, one or two, braids, or something, or pulled up in my hat. So important, don’t plan on fixing your hair all up spiffy, because a combination of the wind, and it gets powerful trust me, and the playa dust, sweat, and activities can really cause some tangles.

**wigs are fun, and go big! get those wild and fun colors, get those extensions or braids, make yourself super happy and feel super fun, great too for keeping you warm at night, but be aware, wigs will make your head itchy, so know what you are getting yourself into and you’ll be just fine

8. camel packs/bike basket: great to prepare with plenty of water, and easy access to drink at any point

9. a bike: so important for the playa, this year they have expanded the esplanade and additional 2 miles, and an extra 500 ft to get to the man. You will not want to walk everywhere! And it’s much more fun when you decorate your bike, I just stripped all of the fur off my bike, going to try something new this year, still trying to decide what!

10. goggles/head lamp: I hardly go anywhere without these, infact, unless it’s from one trailer or tent to the next, I always have them. goggles are a necissity, sunglasses don’t block the sand that blows hard and fast into your eyes. the goggles make it much more enjoyable. same for the head lamp, at night, it’s better to have your hands free at all important times, ie-porta potty!!!! don’t leave home without them!

11. a smile and a hug- remember to pack plenty of smiles and hugs with you to take to the playa. Especially if you are a virgin, and are a little unsure of what to expect. Don’t worry, we all go through walks of passages, and you finding your comfort and grounding at this festival is no different. You will find yourself so many times out of any comfort zone you have ever had, and all you need to get through them as they occur are smiles and hugs! The community embraces you, and will nourish your soul. Just smile and let it in!

12. bring ipod-so that while we are in trailer resting, getting ready, and or preparing meals or downloading pictures, we have music to listen too! We love music, and love to have it constantly playing!
