Sunfood Diet Success System: Ch 5 Goals ~ @gcrush ~

“success is taking action towards your personal goals each day.”
Jim Rohn, Success Philosopher
“few realize that a major cause of stress (the great destroyer of health) is having no goals, no future to await you, no plan to go somewhere in life. Setting goals allows us to chart the course of our life and control where we are going. The more control we feel we command over our future, the less stress we feel.”
“humans have the divine ability to visualize, to see the future before it happens. We literally create the future through visualization. Positive, vivid mental pictures activate all of the laws of the universe and send things, people and circumstances to us in harmony with those pictures.”
“those who think about visionary goals, who use their garden-minds to erect fantastic visions of beautiful orchards, brilliant island vacations, perfect days and radiant relationships, are living the most - they are getting the most enjoyment out of life.”
“think about your goals continuously. When your goals are clear, all the laws of the universe conspire in your favor to help you. Whenever you feel things are going badly, think about your goals! Uplift yourself by thinking about, visualizing and feeling your goals!”
“remember: the greater your goals, the greater the challenges which await you! Andrew Carnegie said: “anything in life worth having is worth working for.” When you set greater goals, you will face greater challenges. When you set the goal to reach an extraordinary level of health, people will oppose you! Peers may criticize you; family and friends will descend upon you; strangers will try to discourage you. You have to leverage your mind to handle these situations, maintain your focus and enjoy the process!”
“no matter what your station in life at the present time, you can change your future in a moment with one powerful action. The actions you take, or do not take, each day shape your destiny. Each action or non-action is taking you towards a conclusion, a goal. Remember, you are always heading towards goals. The question is: Whose?”
“The ultimate quest has no ending, and that fact gives it incredible value. The true value is not what we get, but what we become along the way. We journey to a goal, and then realize the journey is the goal!”

Goals
1. set a health goal to continuously act upon the information contained within this book. Record this goal in your journal.
my health goal and dedication is to fulfill the reading and exercises of all chapters of the sunfood diet success system. I know that by accomplishing this, that I will stay connected to a strong and beautiful source of health and knowledge that will help me reach the next level of health. I am aware that I have gotten side-tracked and that I can get derailed, and just because of that, does not mean that I am going to give up this journey.
I love what the sunfood diet success system is helping me learn, share, and grow. It keeps a constant state of awareness, as I am always thinking about the chapters I have read, the journals that I have written, and the future i am so excited to see unfold.
If I make it to 100% raw which would be fantastic, and would happen because that’s what works, and through my journey I am able to maintain a way that keeps me successful. I am so excited about this journey. I love setting goals, and I love putting a star by the goals we accomplish.
I have seen it work, and continue to work with our progress and momentum with bohocrush. And I feel that with my lessons and understanding of all of our efforts with our website, that a healthy diet based with goals and accomplishments, will help me be successful when in the past now I have not yet reached the level I would like to achieve.
I also know that as we get further and further along on this journey, I am requiring more and more energy, get less and less sleep, and am more and more active. I do not wish to live on caffeine or quick stop and go sources of food and energy to maintain these increased levels of activity. I know that I need to focus and maintain my health, so that I can continue to grow, and take on more, and maintain a balanced need of health, energy, desire, and focus. I know that a raw food diet will help me with this, and that I feel that nothing else will be as successful.
**I also want to age well, and be in pictures well into my later ages, when most people would unlikely to still be in pictures. I was super inspired by the recent blog post of Heidi and Raw Food Right Now: “Carol Alt to pose nude for Playboy” I was so delighted to see an older woman, preparing to do a nude photo shoot. Her connection to raw foods and the living lifestyle, will be a major focus of the shoot! Now thats what I am talking about! It’s a great article to read, and it’s a great step for the spreading of the health and beauty of what eating a raw foods diet can accomplish.
I am turning 33 at the end of this month. Funny how many people, (I’m sure it’s by the way I act!) think that I am in my early 20’s. I like to feel silly, happy, and light. And if that creates an awe of youth, I will take it! I plan on being in pictures for a long long long time!

“1. develop an intense desire to achieve your goals
2. develop a strong belief in your goals
3. write down your goals
4. determine how you will benefit from achieving your goals
5. analyze your starting point
6. set deadlines to achieve your goals
7. identify the obstacles that stand in your way
8. identify the additional knowledge or information you will require.”
@gcrush goal #1. “downsize” our possessions so that we can be light and mobile:
benefits from achieving goal:
-less possessions puts less effort and energy on maintenance through our daily activities. there is only so much room a mind can have, and sometimes you need to clear out some of the baggage, to add more in. boxes of unused, and unnecessary items really causes a distraction, even if it is unconsciously happening. it is still there. constant reminder of the things you still need to do.
-by consolidating, and trying to become as efficient in our living situation as possible, we are able to maintain it with less energy and effort. which means more energy and effort for more stuff. to learn and grow, and share more and more and more
-by evaluating what is needed and what is not, I realize the growth that has occurred, and am prepared to take on new adventures. based on how the last adventure went, I can learn and use this information to continue to push into the unknown with confidence, ease, and excitement.
-we are able to stay light and pick up and go at any moments notice. very important to us!
start point: organize and take the basement and garage to a lighter level.
evaluate everything we have. does it have a future with us. Can it go to a good home. Can it be recycled or donated. Is it needed. clear out any extra clutter, or items just taking up space.
deadlines: by accomplishing small tasks everyday we should be able to accomplish this process in about 2 months. So deadline=August 5, 2008.
identify the obstacles:
1. whenever we are home we are so compelled to work on the computers, and get so caught up in the virtual world, or photoshop and editing and etc. there is never a project not to be accomplished.
2. it’s a busy season, festivals, parties, events, photo shoots, and lots and lots of content to publish, and learn how to edit and create videos.
identify the additional knowledge or information you will require: n/a
@gcrush goal #2: meditation
benefits from achieving goal:
-more concentrated focus on start and complete of all tasks
-life sustaining energy acquired that breaths life, energy, and sustenance into the mind, body, and soul
-regular practice ensures more quality interactions and living in the present
-a great time to share with the one you love
starting point:
-today! start finding a time in the day where I can disconnect, and pull inside of my mind and body, start following my breathing, and build up. start with minute intervals, and work into longer periods of time.
****a mental flag to me: when I start feeling impatient, overwhelmed, or lack of in the present, this is the time to meditate
deadlines:
this is an ongoing achievement, however, the sooner I can adopt into a daily routine, I will see results, and benefits sooner. and I am really determined to accomplish this.
identify the obstacles:
-i’m silly crazy in love and connected to the internet! I have to remind myself to pull away and take time!
-I have no space where I can go and be alone, so wherever I can, I have to find the ability to start finding calm and peacefullness around other energies and actions. (I do see this as a good thing, I always believe making the best out of everything, and this opportunity does not allow me much space, and as a traveler and journeyer into the unknown, I need to find balance and calmness no matter where I am at, or what i am doing.)
identify the additional knowledge or information you will require.
-inside strength and determination.
-would like a cool audio to follow to get me started, something I can focus on to listen to, that helps put me into calm and relaxation. Any ideas or suggestions?
@gcrush goal #3: more time set aside for my self sexual explorations
how will you benefit from achieving your goals:
-more self pleasure
-learning more about my own body, what I like, what i want, things I want to try
-help maintain a level of energy, and grounding, and acceptance, and loving of my own sexuality, will help create a lot more ideas and creativity when I am in video
starting point:
-today! again like meditation, I can daily start to allow my mind, body, imagination, and energy to go directly back into my body, to find what stimulates and arouses me, while I am finding quite time for meditation, I can also set aside time to day dream, fantasize, and strengthen the connection with myself, through touching, toys, thoughts, breath, relaxation, and grounding.
deadline:
-this one was last year! that is my deadline, so I just need to start doing way more of it now!
identify the obstacles:
-once again I don’t have much alone time, and this is a sacred time for self pleasure, comfort, and desire. shone and I spend 24/7 together, and I would not have it any other way. It’s now time for me to regularly find time for myself, while he is still working on the computer for myself. and then of course invite him in afterwards, during, or when I feel like I want a partner. However I need to find the time for myself, and set my own boundaries.
plus it really turns him on when he has to sit at the computer and work, and can’t come play with me just yet!! OH I love my baby love!
identify the additional knowledge or information you will require:
-rechargeable batteries, lots of visual and physical stimulation, erotica (I love sex bloggers! they rule the internet!!!)
@gcrush goal #4 Get a lap top
determine how you will benefit from achieving your goal
-will be able to be more mobile
-will be able to start live blogging and chatting, something I am really excited to get started!
-will be able to create more content for our website
-will be able to accomplish more research on the internet with a web cam!
-will be able to interact with members of bohocrush more personally
analyze your starting point:
-a while back I went back to work to bartend. So really, I have already started the process. We are saving from every shift for my laptop. so now it’s just maintaining and keeping the good vibe going
set deadlines:
-this one I have no real control over, I continue to make sacrifices and minimalize my life so that I don’t need as much. this helps save more money for equipment and such for the website. I will continue to work and do all that I can to save up for equipment. after laptop, there is much much much more! but I love the bar, I love people, and it’s a great outlet, so it has been a wonderful and amazing experience, one that I am so glad to be a part of.
identify the obstacles:
-life: we all know it has it’s ups and downs, sometimes it requires more, sometimes it requires less, but once you call out something, there is no need to resist, just embrace, and enjoy
identify the additional knowledge or information you will require
-research, what computer is exactly best for me, size, memory, mac for sure!!!! I am an addicted to mac girl!!! but i still want to do the best for me, so do we buy a new one, or do we have david, the amazing computer man build one when we get the parts, but that might be more of our next pc one and not laptop. again, more information to research. Must have webcam, greatest quality I can get.
@gcrush goal #5: develop a fun and inspiring, sexually arousing, informational and bohocrush related, updates, silly, and creative blog!
determine how you will benefit from achieving your goals:
-this blog is a place for myself, and soon others associated with bohocrush to have a voice, to share love, to connect, and reach out to as many earthlings as possible, by having a blog, I am able to communicate to all of the people in our life, who we have met so far, and for those new ones who we will meet.
-a lot of people talk about SEO, and quite frankly this is important to me, but I would rather concentrate on providing an area that wants people to come play with me. A more intimate connection, that grows connection and adventure. I want to reach out through word of mouth, by interest, and usefullness. It’s about quality and not quantity, and I want others to find and come across my blog when the timing is right for them. I do appreciate a random click, and perhaps planting a seed, for the return of the reader when their curiousity gets the best of them. I want to connect with people!! this provides a great sense of love and connection while on the internet, and this to me is crucial to navigate through this universe.
-advertising and promotion does not require money. We have done all of our promotions through word of mouth, internet play, and communications, events, and that is how we will continue. I don’t need to buy advertising or click throughs, and because I enjoy blogging so much, and am so curious about life myself, I am compelled to write and to share. To connect with all who I know, in hopes to help them find others that can collaborate or share in turn. Blogging gives me a voice, a reality in the cyber world. By creating a place where more and more people come to me, instead of me having to go out and search and find, and try to communicate with others, when perhaps they are not as receptive due to lots of events and their own life. However, if I can create a place that provides a lot of information, inspiration, fun, and connection, I hope that I will gain many followers, local and international. And this will make it possible for me to continue exploring, and bringing home for all to play with. The world is my playground, and I intend to explore as much of it as I can and share each and every bit of it.
-will save lots of time and effort for other things in my daily life.
-my blog is an organized area of my brain, I can readily access it at just about any point, I feel like I can continue adding more in, because I write so much down!
-and I have fun! twitter and perhaps plurk (have an interesting story to share at some point about this “plurk”)
analyze your starting point:
-I first started blogging on a small blog that shone created on bohocrush. It soon was lost, due to a power surge in our server, and we had not backed it up yet. (things always happen for a reason) so then I moved into vox. It was easy, I did not require shone’s time, and could move in, practice and have fun. Yet I quickly outgrew it! I needed more space, and I needed to expand. Hence I encouraged and patiently planted the seed with shone that I needed a new blog. Thank goodness at the time david was also needing a website, and the two of them collaborated, and started working together on developing our word press blogs, ours and davids at summer rain recordings. It was very helpful having shone and david working on the same project. David was a mad man, and he ripped through the development. You should see him work, he is an animal on the computer.
So all in all I think I have been blogging and growing for a little less than a year. So now, it’s just about consistency and constantly getting to know my surroundings. I am really enjoying moving into wordpress. I love to fill the sidebars with all things that inspire me!
-by creating a successful blog, I hope to entice more internet users to become members, to join our bohemian community, and help support our journey with their love and financial devotion.
set deadlines:
-there is no deadline, what I do is what I do, and will continue to do, only time will show where we grow and what we do. we are enjoying this process, and work on the motto “what can be done will be done”
identify obstacles:
-the main obstacles I face is equipment. there is so much I want to do, but all in good time.
-I do wish I had a little slave boy or girl who could stay by my side at all times and help me when I get into a tech fix. Shone’s time is so precious, and I really try and use his time as the least amount as possible. On the bright side though, it has helped me learn a lot more than I ever thought I would.
identify the additional knowledge or information you will require:
-i do need to learn some seo, i do want to learn more about how to communicate effectively to my readers
-there will be a constant and forever state of learning and growing, this will never end. what I need to know and be aware of is those times while I am growing when I need to let go of some things, and then add others, or vice versa, add others, and then let go of somethings, both of these phenomena occur to me on a weekly basis.
-continuously learning new gadgets, and ways of communication, websites, applications, widgets, plug-ins, cms, twitters, plurks, browsers, and so much much much much much more, and thank goodness, I love to be challenged, and I love to learn, so this is a magical part of this journey for me!
I have really enjoyed writing down and thinking about my goals. I can hardly explain the bliss it has brought to me. I feel that it will help me become so much more focused and able to accomplish so much more, and yet still remain present, and still remain in touch with myself.
I highly recommend it to anybody. I would love to hear some of your goals! please feel free to share them with me here if you like. You never know, but one of your goals may become somebody else’s, and I think it’s so great to share so that we can all inspire each other.

I love these goals. I think it’s amazing that so many of your goals also encompass other people’s goals. That’s such support.
And youre so focused. You know what needs to done and how to get it done. This is really inspiring. Thanks so much for posting this.
I highly recommend you writing down some goals, remember, they don’t have to be done overnight, the purpose is to have them to look at, to focus on, to move your energy towards them, it gets quite crazy in this chotic world, and distractions occur every second of our lives.
by writing them down, and having them to refocus with, it helps you find your balance and grounds you.
and it is super fun to write and think about your goals!
