what a yummy day it has been!
I made a green smoothie today, and after just refilling my container with some filtered water, and getting every last drop of greenness on my cup, I feel like sharing. Why, because something this good just has to be shared. And I always believe that you should always look, read, and be exposed to something new. Sometimes it takes you down the most magical adventures!
1 young coconut- for water and flesh: not sure how to open a coconut?
3-4 nice and green leaves of kale
1-2 bananas
two scoops of sun is shining green superfood
1 tblsp of raw almond butter
some cinnamon – there are rumors going around that it makes your “bodily fluids” taste delightful! ![]()
1-2 tblspoons of organic coconut oil-(boosts thyroid functions, metabolism, and is the best for your skin) read more about the benefits of coconuts here
1 scoop of Thor’s Raw Power
put everthing into a vit-mix
and tada!!!
you can add some ice or frozen fruit to make it creamier and colder if you like!
everytime I make a smoothie there is plenty for me shone and sarah. remember to use filtered water when you first rinse your vitamix, and drink it, don’t waste all of the yummy stuff on the blender, and when you are finished with your glass, add some filtered water and clean your glass. you will stay full for a long long time.
when you drink or “eat” green smoothies, drink slow, and chew. this is a complete meal, and should be enjoyed as such. actually it’s more like an app, a meal, and desert!
