Our Mission for our Raw Food and Yoga Challenge in Reno for the month of March
*to build momentum organically through the efforts and participants of all those involved with the challenge.
*to showcase how fresh and whole foods can be incorporated into any lifestyle
*to showcase how yoga and meditation can be incorporated into any lifestyle
*to show how involvement with a community both online and local (in reno) can lead to 24/7 connections and support for not only this particular challenge but for a lifetime of healthy and blissful living.
*to incorporate magically delicious adult adventures with ourselves and or with our lovers: to share love, communications, and share bliss with the ones that mean the most to us!
Many things in life are unknown until we put our intentions towards them. We are not here to judge whatever level you may wish to participate. Our primary goal is to reach out to the individual in you, to help you find what is best for your journey. To share this with everybody: all of our unique and true to ourselves journeys.
*also we need to keep in mind before you get too far into this, that you must be 18 years or older to participate in this challenge. If you are less than 18 years and wish to know why, please understand that bohocrush is an 18 and over artistic, adult, and community oriented site, and is the website that is involved in a leadership role in this project.
*consider twitter, if you would like to follow along via computer and or your phone. There is a multitude of resources online to get you started, and get you going. We can share a lot of resources with you all throughout random times of the day and night. It’s up to you if you wish to follow us and or jump in. We simply like to share all of the possible avenues there are on this journey we wish to share with you.
The program in a nutshell: Read the following questionnaire and weekly demonstration for how it all plays a part.
1. to participate in the raw food portion of the challenge you need to be prepared to purchase your own groceries, we will make a group purchase, a *group pick up, and will work as a community to distribute the meals, and share as a community to get all ingredients necessary, and receive an amazing discount for our produce. Weekly menus will be provided, and we will together as a community come up with what will tend to all of our needs and commitments for this particular challenge. Read the schedule below, if you cannot attend the first meeting, one of us will be in touch with you to go over all needed questions and options. No worries, we are all here as a community to make sure that each and every person participating has the best chances to have a rewarding march!
2. We will encourage you to get to know your community, and to share experiences, both in the past and current with the community. We would like you to participate in our weekly get togethers at various locations to be announced to prepare foods together and make a group meal and a take home meal and or recipe for ourselves.
3. You will also receive 10% discount towards all of your purchases while dining at the Vod Deli. There will be a special password given to you, to tell the cashier!
4. To participate in the yoga portion of this challenge, you can either purchase the special unlimited price yoga pass for $69 (usually $89 if you are not participating in the particular challenge) drop in classes will stay at their normal price of $11.

Sunday March 1-Saturday March 7
Sunday March 1: Let’s get together for a yoga class. Time to be announced. If you wish to participate in the yoga portion of this challenge, the yogic lounge is giving a special price for all raw food challengers. I highly recommend the unlimited pass: regularly $89 for this challenge it is $69. This is applied to all current scheduled yoga, belly, salsa, acro yoga classes at the yogic lounge, and any additionally spontaneous yoga classes that could take place during community get togethers. Otherwise it is an $11 dollar drop in fee. This is an investment in yourself, your health, and your bliss. You’ll LOVE yourself for it!
Let’s then possibly depending on your feedback: yes or no take some regular hanging out pictures while at the studio.
Afterwards let’s meet right right next door for some tea, and have an opportunity to ask any last minute questions, or share ideas. We will do this after yoga class, so that we are all focused, intentful and in gratitude for the yoga class we just shared together.

3. Spend at least 5-15 minutes today meditating. If you have not done it before, here is a video that might give you some help: falling still dhrumil is an incredible resource and you can also follow him on twitter.
4. Make love to yourself today by either:
*making yourself and family a healthy meal
*take a hot bath in coconut oil
*have some juicy lovings with your lover
*listening to your most favorite cd ever, over and over and over.
*Do a yoga class at the yogic lounge:
*Stop by the vod deli : and have juice, smoothie, or say hello to the crew! You’ll want to get to know these magical earthlings. They make yummy yummy food! Look for Schall, she is the owner, has long blonde braids and glasses, and is super knowledgable and loves to teach! Don’t forget all participants in our challenge receive 10% off while at the vod deli!

Tuesday March 3
1. Wake up and do some stretching. Give your body some nice random movements and range of motions. Drink a nice big glass of water and perhaps squeeze some lemon in if you have any around.
2. Say hello to all of us on twitter. Let us know that you are connecting in and that you are ready for the best day ever!
3. Go about your normal day, try to add as many fresh fruits and or vegetables to your meal selections today. Make little steps in your normal day to bring awareness about your desire to incorporate more fresh foods into your diet.
And then twitter us and let us know what and when you substituted!

4. If you have not done a yoga class yet, go ahead. You’ll really start to thank yourself. The instructors at the yogic lounge are amazing. They teach multi level classes in each class, so you don’t have to worry about being a beginner and jumping into a more advanced class. ☺ and even better, many of them you’ll be communicating with online via ning and or twitter! ☺
5. In the evening before you go to bed, look up at least one web resource from our recommended list. Find something that interests you, read it, set some intentions, and go to bed with a smile on your face.

***** If you are looking for a community gathering, why not come down and say hello to us at the amendment 21. We have learned that there are always going to be distractions, and that it’s best just to face them, and always do your best. As long as you are kind to yourself in the face of temptation, you will always be able to ride through any obstacle course smoothly and steadily! Some of us will be around from 7pm -10 every Tuesday and Wednesday night. You just might stumble into some music and or entertainment, we’ve always got something going on. And if you are coming! 4. Stop by the Vod Deli, pick up a delicious green salad. You have to try their tahini dressing, it is the best ever! We all drink every last drop of our salad dressing. I also really enjoy the Vodiyaki! It’s delicious!

Check in online(blogs or email) so that you can see the food menu and options that are going to be available for the following week: We will email them to you, and we will be posting all of this information online as well, so that our online friends can easily follow along! 7. I love the 8:30 “slow flow” yoga class on Thursday nights! It’s a great class for recovering after a busy and long week, and it’s perfect for increasing circulation and increasing your energy for your weekend.

Friday March 6

b. Do a yoga class to celebrate your week. There is an acro yoga play class on the first Friday of every month at 7:00pm. It’s Free for all members. Try something new, you’ll recognize the instructors! We are so fortunate to have out of about 120 certified instructors in the world, 2 of them living and working right here at the yogic lounge! Do yourself a favor, drop in.

Our first get together, the menu will be released online and via email, and
Would love to get you involved, Drew“>drew and Margo“>margo will be shopping in the morning for groceries, if you would like to go with them get in touch with Margo“>margo and or Drew“>drew. This particular get together will be separate finances that the order that you paid for by Friday. This day does not fit into our delivery window, and so this will be a financed meal from all of us for our get together, paid for upon arrival of get together. AT this current time we are looking at a get together at 2:00pm. During this class we will be twittering with our online community, will be doing some live streaming to our internet community, and will be recording some video of all of us preparing meals. We will also be taking pictures and posting on our flickr account. please be advised you must have a flickr account to view pictures.

Be dressed and prepared for a spontaneous yoga class or energetic dance class! You just never know what the get together might create. Be prepared always for fun and lots of laughter! You will also be preparing a meal or meal(s) for your Monday. **At this time we will come up with as a community how to make our week optimal as a group, and what we can do to make each other successful. Including: meals, question/answer, education provided by margo and schall.
